Yeah it’s a lovely part of the world. And we have petrol as well 😎

Same here. I last came 20 odd years ago on business and just spent an afternoon here. As Esco said, just wander around. The bars, restaurants are all great. We like walking so we get to see a lot. Done the castle, Golden Mile, Hollyrood, Royal Yacht Brittania etc. Some nice streets between Princess St and George St reminded me of the Northern Quarter. Something for everyone really.

Perhaps need to give Edinburgh another go.

Went once to the centre- middle of the season with preparation going on for the tattoo. Really warm, packed and a grumpy tot with us, who was, as it turned out, coming down with an infection. 

Only been for a hen do. Would most certainly not be going on another hen do there. Fine as a couple though. Didn't help it was March and colder than the South Pole.
