Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Bet you’re loving this weather as you’re in foal

I'm loving life. Sweating in places I have never sweated before.

My son was born in a heatwave in 2013. My Mrs was a fucking dragon that last couple of weeks. If she wasn't ready to pop you'd have just gone fuck you.. I'm out.

I feel for your fella Blondie! 🤣

You feel for him?! I'm a fucking joy to be round.

Our supply chain is as follows:

Goods are designed in the UK and ordered from our seven supplier factories in China and transported to the UK via sea freight.  Export distributors collect from our UK warehouse using their own distribution system for sale in their own territories.

Gonna be hotter than the sun today

I reckon blondies boob sweat could hydrate a small Ethiopian village today

And?

The mitsubishi bit was the purpose of the link- neither me nor Sweep could remember the Japanese company they'd tied up with.

What's the problem with NI? I thought the technology wiff waff had sorted all that out long ago?

Next you'll be telling me we sign deals with folk then rip them up in their faces before the ink has dried.

Time was, an Englishman's word was his bond, but it appears we're more slippery than the Europeans we're attempting to distance ourselves from.

Voter : "Boris, if I vote leave, will there be border checks here between NI/ROI?"

Boris: "No, there will absolutely be no checks, you have my word"

Voter: "Are you sure? It is the key influence on my referendum vote"

Boris: "No checks!"

They're certainly not UK made, and I'm not sure they claim they are either these days, like a lot of companies, they'll infer that they are - although I appreciate that TMGJ said they were for some reason. I know we ship some bits to central Europe, but only the circuit board parts, I'm sure the actual motors and fans do come from China, as you'd expect them to.

Having a quick gander at their accounts, and the Meaco (UK) Limited only employ 7 people, which stacks up with it just being office/admin here in the UK

Just been for a run. Possibly not the wisest decision I've made. Fucking scorcher today and it's only early

So fucking what you pedantic tool.

A British company, designed and made good products.

Sold part, and concentrated in one area, expanded, became global. Good for them.

A success story wherever they're made, perhaps it doesn't suit you, but that should be celebrated.

If they do offer apprenticeships, perhaps you could apply for one.

Hardly pedantry

Its obvious to most that price is nearly always king

This thunder is amazing.

  • 1 month later...

We only seem to have 2 seasons these days - bone dry or an absolute monsoon

Couple of lightning strikes very close to me, on cycleway on Newhouse farm. Hope no bugger was there on a bike.

In a sixty metre walk from a mate's to my house it went from light rain to a fucking monsoon.

The Lane, no exaggeration, changed from a road to a fucking river, a river I had no choice but to cross in my favourite hen's teeth adidas.

I cannot ever recall seeing such torrential rain here in the UK...

In one fucking minute I was soaked to the bone.

But, yup, Anthropogenic climate change is a myth propogated by Greta Thunberg, Al Gore and Alan Musk to flog more of his Tesla shitboxes.

But, as Maggie Tate used to point out there's two sides to every story...

Leading scientists from Shell, BP and Exxon Mobil reckoned it was all bollocks...

All a part of Earth's natural warming and cooling cycles.

Been going on since the dawn of time they reckoned.

I'm inclined to think that might play some part, read we're at the end of an ice age or something

But, it's been proven whatever might be naturally occurring, we're not helping and there's plenty we can do to improve the situation

I’ve just driven back from Coventry and every single motorway was a fucking river.

The bottom of the M61 was a lake.

4 fucking cunting wanky bastard shitting hours staring at brake lights and torrential rain.

Covid? What the fuck is Covid?

Geological Epochs move so slowly, they are imperceptible - or they did....

Glaciers, for example, advance and retreat, but not to the point where a scientist nips off for a chippy tea and can of D+B and when they return its gone back a mile and the local Polar Bears are practicing their backstroke.

Nowt worse than driving on a Motorway when the windscreen wipers are on top notch, and it's still impossible to see.

Was an article like this

https://www.climate.gov/news-features/climate-qa/whats-coldest-earths-ever-been

"Striking during the time period known as the Pleistocene Epoch, this ice age started about 2.6 million years ago and lasted until roughly 11,000 years ago.

Like all the others, the most recent ice age brought a series of glacial advances and retreats. In fact, we are technically still in an ice age. We’re just living out our lives during an interglacial"

It's just unfortunate that we're around during this intergracial period fucking around with the planet and making it worse

After we're gone and life starts again next time round hopefully they'll be intelligent enough and know their limits, or, more dinosaurs that just eat each other and trees

And then all those crying starving African kids with flies on their eyes off the telly will have the last laugh when we're scratting around trying to hunt penguins and Arctic foxes...

(And before some pedant points it out, I know Penguins live solely in the Southern hemisphere).
