Whites man
Yes course it is. Â You've seen the two worst left back performances you've EVER seen in the space of a few months. Â He said "since" not "ever".
onefinfrandsen
I don't know anything other than what's public knowledge. Forget all the ITK BS, knowing a few folk I firmly believe regular readers of this board will know more about our club than the journos. Â Tough times call for solid characters, Steinsson may be the better full back but would you want him in the trenches alongside you? not sure i understand what you mean, but i think you may have answered your own question. steinson may not be the best full back in the league, but going off his recent performances then don t think he deserves to be dropped. body language alone its a no brainer, steinsons fist pumping and whole hearted aproach , where as alonso today when the going got tough, did nt want to know. i know who i woulld want along side me in the trenches. chief wiggum
Everybody around us has lost too. Shite peformance admittedly, but before QPR how many off here wouldnt have taken 9 points from the last 4 fixtures? Â Keep Calm and Carry On! DIPS
Got to agree with Happy, as soon as I walked into the stadium everything seemed off, combination of we're safe and no sense of intention etc

Steinsson would be in the sickbay where fist pumping and a whole hearted approach would have, at best, a limited effect
superkev
I have seen some people saying Petrov worked hard. Fuck me it's just a token jog back. The second goal was embarrassing. They broke and everyone was sprinting back. When the goal went in Petrov was the furthest player forward just watching. Joke. Not saying it his all him, but if you look every time our wingers got the ball their full backs got back up from other midfielders. That is what is wrong with the shape of our team. If we are going to play shit at least you have to be solid. The third goal was simple triangle passing and they were in. Far too easy to break down even when we are playing 4-5-1. We need players that are going to work their bollocks off to cover our lack of spark and if we ain't got that we are fucked. If the excuse of tiredness comes out then they can fuck off with that aswell.

moosevernel
Its what he meant  hence the 'yes' above from him  it's just my opinion... out of everyone on the pitch alonso looked the far worst to me, didnt manage to tackle duff once all game, always in the centre ball watching, lost the ball on the wing and fucking started walking back to our half. It was a shameful performance and i am not the only person who thinks so as everyone else i heard was talking about how shit he was playing in the pie line. RUREADY2ROLL
you are right, but because every body around has lost that makes it more frustrating, can nt help feeling that we missed a trick today.  If we had won today and Manure win tomorrow I reckon another win or a win and a draw would have been enough  We need 6 or 7 more more points but after that its difficult to see where 1 more point is going to come from
Site Supporter MickyD Posted April 7, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted April 7, 2012 Duff has just turned 33 Alonso turned 21 in December. I reckon Duff could give alonso a 10 yard start in a race over the length of the pitch.

Juan.Kerr
We were shit today. The frustrating thing is, again, that we were not able to take advantage of other results. We're no worse off than we were this morning. No consolation whatsoever.

I get none from winning when every other fucker wins.
enzo gambaro
  Players and the manager getting a fair crack of the whip, BOTH WAYS  individual performances are irrelevent on this forum, its reputation only  We win, its Mavies this, Reo Coker that  We lose, its Alonso worst left back ever, Knight worst Centre back ever and Pratley the worst footballer ever.  We never win and you hear positive for the boo boys  and you never hear a bad word said about the golden boys when we lose  same with the manager  we win with 442, its we got lucky, opposition was shit. We lose with 442 and its Coyle is useless, were getting over run in midfield, coyle out  451 we win, oh its 451, why hasnt he played this all season, bla bla bla  we lose 451, formation doesnt get a mention, its all alonso and pratleys fault  the one that really fucks me off though (and you can go back and check this out)  Every time we lose a game, EVERY SINGLE TIME, some one posts something along the lines of "Iv seen some shite games in my time, but fuck me that was by far the worst ive ever seen"  then the same again after the next loss  and the next  and the next  no it fucking wasnt Thanks, Micky, but I don't think Garrp needs a spokesman anyway.  Garrp - you keep coming back to Davies and NRC - aside from your penchant for an outsider, how's that any different from folk caning Pratley and Knight?  Alonso DID get battered, Pratley WAS anonymous.  I felt sorry for NRC - he found himself lumbered with about six jobs.  Mark Davies was never in the game, Ngog was woeful, blah blah blah.  We're out of players, really, but there's no credit knocking about today. Â Totally agree. But we are where we are, today has gone. I still think we are in a better position than the other teams in the bottom 5, not just league position but our run in. Moderators Carlos Posted April 7, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2012 Stupid free kick to give away but Bogdan set his wall and got nowhere near what wasn't even a great free kick. Â Alonso gave the ball away, couldn't keep up with Duff and then didn't have a clue how to stop him crossing. Seriously the poorest full-back we've had since Gerald Cid. I'd have been happier if he'd kicked Duff and taken a yellow but letting him cross the ball or drift past him over and over again was piss poor. Â However, we created fuck all so the best we could ever hope for was a 0-0. No idea what taking Ngog off after 60 minutes or leaving Alonso on for 90 was all about. pato
After thinking over it that was the very definition of a "meh" and "pah" game. Â Meh the crowd were unsure and there was feck all singing even a chorus of Muamba fell flat on its arse. Â Pah the perfomance and result. Whites man
more like alonso would do a runner over the top with the white flag, while steinson would be throwing genades from his sick bed. Â Let's hope he doesn't strain his throwing arm at the last minute then.

Meh the crowd were unsure and there was feck all singing even a chorus of Muamba fell flat on its arse.  Pah the perfomance and result.  Fair comment. Bad day at the office. We need to move on. We've lost to a team we almost never beat. Poor performance yes, but it's been a stressful few weeks, we have a paper thin squad and who are running on empty. We probably won't get anything at Newcastle but you never know. Not aimed at you Pato but why do I get the impression that there are a few on here who want us to lose so they can say 'I told you so' ? Moderators Carlos Posted April 7, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2012 People fucking love it when we lose, I think it gives some people more pleasure than us winning.  However, the build up was flat, no talk of it being a massive game, I hoped that behind the scenes they'd be raring to go. Cos if they can't get up for Fulham at home then they won't give a flying fuck about playing Barnsley etc.
Ani
every player was terrible today but even taking that into account alonso stood out a mile, he was fucking awful.

We are all so pissed off because of the level of the performance and the fact that Alonso was selected after two attrocious games. Â I am glad we are back in action Monday because we need something back from them lot; lets hope Owen gets them organised
