  • Exactly. You don't go so fuck off with your pearls of wisdom. And before you start, I don't give a monkeys why you weren't there.

I see Hill has admitted he is a munchen, makes me sick to the pit of my stomach a Boltonian who does not support our great club, glad I dropped him on his arse with a bruising tackle on premier 5s a couple of years ago, hope we shove five past them on Saturday.

2-0 Wanderers Eagles & Petrov goal in each half.

I see it as a bit of a test for DF as he tries to get the Wanderers re-organised and re-motivated.

Promising signs defending against the 'big' teams of the division; now he has to get the Whites to take control of a game against a 'lesser' team.

Glad Redfearn isn't on for them, but still a tight niggly game. 1-1. 16,294

not had my rant on this one, yet, as i like the bloke and think he knows what he's doing

but

petrov, right wing

i don't get it and i don't like it

be interesting how he goes tomorrow as we've got plenty options for the 5 midfield positions

wide left, petrov, eagles or butterfield

attacking mf, i suppose is eagles, butterfield, mark davies and pratley

other two mids, mark davies, andrews, spearing

right mid, petrov, lee and eagles

everybody fit, everybody available, i'm interested to see how he goes

Doesn't work for me having Petrov on that side, he's at his most effective whipping crosses in from the left - he doesn't seem to have the nous to come inside and take a pop at goal and going down the outside is a non-starter.

We are effectively down to 10 men having him on that side. Worth a try but not to be repeated imo

we switched david lee from right wing to left wing in the rioch era and it worked ok. can't see it happening with petrov to be honest but let's give it a go and see

We should win, but I remember us losing to Birmingham away and then Barnsley went there and won 5-0, so I dunno.

well he did nowt on the right at bpool, but it was just too narrow

been trying to figure out why he plays on the right

perhaps DF thinks he's more likely to be able to cut inside and shoot as opposed to beat a man for pace down the left and whip one in

but even though he doesn't skin full backs, that 30 mins or so v Cardiff was more than enough to see what he can do on the left when the onus is on us to attack

last week, early on, you could see the ball petrov was looking for was over or between the centre backs

all a bit one dimensional

blackpool soon realised and he went out of the game

not sure if it led to the first goal though

Aye, our 4th division days, had 2 great afternoons at Wrexham that season. I went with my old fella in the seats, kicked off in there too. Good old days. Would love to find footage of it to see if it was as violent as my 14 year old mind thinks it was

Revising my earlier 4-0 prediction after reading the Hill/Flitcroft Bolton connection bit and Barnsley being a bit of a bogey side. Will now go with 2-1 late Gustov Butterdish winner.

Ps bang yer money on 4-0 now

Barnsley deffo was tasty.

3-0. All goals in 2nd half after a boring 1st.

I haven't seen many games this season, but petrov on the right, is he getting many crosses in from that side

maybe the idea is to cut inside and have a shot or float one to the back post for donkey

Think it will be a cagey first half as Dougie seeks to get a shut out and clean sheet at home.

Second Half he will make early changes to formation and I see a potential 2-0 win.

Be interested to see the starting line up, wouldn't be surprised if it is the same as the Blackpool game.

Consistency seems to be the key word that Dougie uses so don't expect radical changes,

I think the crowd today will play a crucial part in how the team perform particularly if the first half isn't lively.

I just have a feeling ................. COYFWM

A good win to continue our revival, 3-0 to us, start looking up the league not down.. COYWM! :)
