My only gripe on the evenings proceedings, and I realise I'm being a nit picking whinging twat, but both players pre and post match interviews screamed media trained at tennis/sports school, say what you need to say without giving any excuse for media controversy. Maybe I'm wrong but I'd love to have felt she was showing real "can't believe I've done this" emotion.

That was absolutely fantastic. An amazing game of tennis from two young players, both deserve credit for their ability to do it on the biggest stage. Emma Raducanu just refused to be beaten even with 80% of the crowd with her opponent. She is a superstar👏
