Site Supporter HomerJay Posted February 9, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Id just like to say, we'll done that lad Never thought hed ever make a footballer Lack of pace aside, in the last few weeks and at this level, he's look very capable. Obviously better going forward than defending, but he can work on that. Top marks from me. Edited February 9, 2013 by HomerJay

Mounts Kipper
He is good on the ball but still a lot to learn and I would not like to see him play left back in the premier league.
whoareya?
Has he actually signed yet for Fiorentina? Pre-contract signed and sealed but no point in BWFC making it public. Massive shame considering how much we paid and how good he is looking.
darrener
Had a drink with peter nicholson who rated him very highly 18 month ago. He said petrov always played better with alonso as robinson always punted the ball over his head while alonso passed the ball to him. He's gone and, knowing Dougie, he will already be scouting a number of replacements.
onlyoneawalker
Enjoying watching him not sure he'd make it at prem level as a left back but very competent at keeping the ball off championship players - thought he got caught a couple of times today over his head and they got in behind him
Gonk
Educated knowledge! He's gone and, knowing Dougie, he will already be scouting a number of replacements. I'll educate you some more. He's rejected a contract offer from Bolton. He's had a very good offer from Fiorentina, He's not signed anything anywhere as yet
Matt Lofthouse
Played great again today. Not a left back though.
beer_swiller
Has a good football brain which makes up for his lack of pace. Will be a big loss to the squad should he leave.
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted February 9, 2013 Author Site Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Strange thing is, if we were heading for the prem I would reallynt care if he left. But seeing as we're not, I'd like to keep him. Edited February 9, 2013 by HomerJay

Mike Hunt
Probably covered elsewhere, but what happened to his court case? Lads played well recently, almost like a weight had been lifted. Sat behind his dad at Birmingham, be great if the team showed his passion
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 10, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted February 10, 2013 If we did manage to keep him, then why not use him wide midfield and get in another left back anyhow?
