Can't stand either of 'em. Never could stand Blackburn and nowadays dislike Burnley due to the bile following the Coyle business (palpable nonsense spouted at the time like "Burnley are a bigger club than Bolton").

 

Nonetheless, I want Burnley to win. Knew they'd not beaten Wovers for a long time, hadn't realised it was as long ago as 1979!

Realistically Wigan are by far and away the best candidate for summat along similar lines. We just don't want to admit it (and rightly so given their insignificance up until the last 8 years).

Not necessarily as I don't even know any Latics fans who live here, it was more that they're the only other local club who are in a similar position to us in terms of lacking a 'proper' derby (although I agree it can be tasty enough against Blackburn).

I don't know any Burnley fans but I know 2 Blackburrrn fans. So for that reason, and that reason alone, I'll be hoping Burnley win.

I know fans from both sides. It wouldn't bother me if they both lost but I'll go for a no-score draw just so they've fuck all to cheer.
