One thing no one has mentioned (to my knowledge). I always reckoned KD would make a blinding centre back. Cue 'giving penalties away willy nilly' comments but I reckon he'd be a cracker. Has all of the attributes.

He'd give away penalties willy nilly.

If by, "he has all the attributes" you mean the only attribute needed by a centre half is to be able to win headers, then I'd agree with you.

Given DF more often than not changes both strikers the fact he didn't get a look in tonight does look a bit ominous for him, you'd have expected to see him at some point in the last 20 the way the game was going back and forth

Unless there are injuries or suspensions, he'll not get a look in for the rest of the season - while the season is active.

In fact, I can see him getting Eaves back ahead of playing SKD. A line has been crossed. I just hope, if it is a 'nothing' game, Freedman sees sense (or shows sympathy) and gives him a run against Blackpool.

As for playing at centre back, maybe 20 years back, but that role has changed a lot over the years. Not for an old forward, that's for sure.

This must not be allowed to happen.

He has other attributes but what's the point of mentioning great in the tackle, great reader of the game, assertive on the field because he's bullied at home.....................

All hypothetical - he's off.

I agree :D

he's not a great tackler and he's not that good in the air

he's slow, too

other than that, cahill needs to watch his back

Don't forget though, in Australia they think Heskey is good.

I'm not sure he's ever been a great reader of the game or particularly assertive. Also, his days of being great in the tackle are long gone. The thing that would catch him out now though is his huge lack of pace, even if he did have "an extra yard" in the mind, his body would still be two yards too slow to be a centre half

Same fucking whining crew who came out when BSA left us.

Jilted lover syndrome.

Bollocks.

He was a bell end before he left and has been particularly since he left

No need

A Facebook post it's still there, claiming SKD knew in January he was going and him and Dooog don't get on at all and claims Davies kicked it all off on his birthday for maximum impact, all came from SJM and Kellys night he said this hey said that type thing

nobody gets on with freedman, he doesn't speak to the players, he surrounds himself with his crew and they talk on his behalf

You said that about Coyle & Lee before him.

Does it really matter? - it's the results that matter, not if the players think the manager is a nice bloke. If the manager is happy to delegate stuff to his immediate staff, then so be it, I see nothing wrong in that

For what it's worth, I've heard that he gets on well with the players and they really like his attitude.

He doesn't get on with those he's releasing. Fuck me, that's a revelation.

Or the ones who perhaps thought they 'managed' the team previously.

Only a nibble

Bell end or not, he knows how to keep a club in the Prem.

So have I, but I'll bow down to superior knowledge of those ITK and with man management skills par excellence.

Dougie's useless for walking around in circles and talking whilst staring at the floor - no eye contact with players...

Those nice lads at your gym want to be friendly, chatty and there's no shortage of eye contact, yet you want to muller them...

Make your mind up on changing room etiquette. :)

I'd have to take your word for that pal. I take little notice other than the news being trumpeted around that Western Sydney Wanderers (the bit which caught my attention) have won the 'minor premiership' in their inaugural season.

Interesting fans too. Seem like a fun bunch

Fully agree with you, the Sam Allardyce years were the Golden Era at Bolton.I knew at the time we were living through great times, I savoured every match as if it was the last and hope other people didn't take it for granted. The day Sam Allardyce resigned was one of the worst of my life. Not as bad as Aldershot or 6-0 but a very sad day.I knew the Golden Era was over.
