Let's face it - payday lending in Bolton is probably a boom industry...   Town is a desperate shithole, you know it, I know it, we all know it. But BWFC, for all their faults, are one source of prid

I'm a bit skint... can anyone recommend where I can get a short term loan?

Little shop next to orangles and across from t'scythe

While I am on my soapbox after a shit day at work ..... a fair number of the people making up the paltry numbers in this protest are probably well to the left of centre in terms of politics and professional attendees at protests of any kind. Some might well be regular purchasers of the Socialist Worker newspaper.

I'd love to ask such people if they manage their own personal finances in the same way as Labour, did. If so they might well require QuickQuid themselves!

Sorry, that was political.

Sorry if you attended and you do not fit in to the above category/stereotype.

Not political more bollocks.

Not political more bollocks.

Bollocks to you too pal.

Bit different to the 1,500+ that have signed that petition.

This alone makes us look far more tinpot than any sponsorship deal ever could.

Genius.

If they Care that much, Why don't this group of 1500 people have a whip round then they can put the fuck what they like on the shirt once the QQ deal expires.

So what did they actually do at this protest?

Generally have a natter then fuck off home?

Or did they all get bang on it in the Swan?

some of the wenchs ther noished you on the town hall steps for a Quick Quid

Have they dispersed yet?

By the way, I notice a bloke has a jacket on with 188 bet on. Take it he's no issues with gambling then?

Genius.

A bit like your original ill punctuated remark.

The UK is in £1.2 trillion of debt. Several people were elected in to positions of responsibility and built up that debt by not understanding the intrinsic link between income and expenditure. Some of those people (electors or elected) have self righteous views about payday loan companies like Quick Quid. They need to get their own house in order before pontificating.

There's no such a number as a 'trillion'.

did you not see the bloke in his unison fleece?

Protesters need to chill out about Quick Quid. We have been sponsored by a gambling company which is worse IMO and many other sponsors whether they be banks, building societies, insurance etc. are rooted in dirty capital gain and are screwing someone over along the way, like the whole nation. Get the fuck over it. Buy the shirt and get behind the team for next season.

Is that Barclays in the background, official sponsors of the Premier League?

http://m.guardian.co...arges-libor-ppi

Quick Quid have a long way to go before they can can compete with real lending bandits.

I've mentioned Barclays a few times, nobody takes me on though :(
