Spider Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Bit different to the 1,500+ that have signed that petition. What the FUCK has happened to the fountains? Quote
Casino Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Nice one. Let's go and fight our fellow fans who happen to have a different view. How old are you for fuck's sake?! I'll be going to kit out my young uns If the great unwashed want to discuss things, I'll be all ears Quote
no balls Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I'll be going to kit out my young uns If the great unwashed want to discuss things, I'll be all ears I'd be interested to know if they're planning on trying to intimidate those wanting to go in the shop. Quote
onefinfrandsen Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Looks like Arry redknap at the bottom of the steps. Quote
Casino Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Alright 10 men. Not at all One man with his kids, not willing to be intimidated or have them feel threatened Still, I'll believe it when I see it, what with it being private land Quote
beer_swiller Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I look at it this way. Should a sponsor come my way I aint gonna turn it down. Bwfc are no different regardless of who sponsors them. If Wonga or any other money lending loan sharks come up with the goodies I will not turn them down, Bwfc are no different. Get over it, boycott the replicas or do what you have to in support of your stance of defiance, it will make no difference to the final outcome. Blackpool are sponsored by Wonga and thousands have bought the shirt and not made a song and dance like we have. Football is a business, like it or not it's a cut throat business. If you have a grievance then don't buy the shirt, or even stronger don't attend games. Quote
davidjack Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 You've turned into that Harry Enfield character. You've built up a whole scenario in your head without any input from anyone else. No 'unwashed' or washed protestor has mentioned any future demo or what may or may not happen at such a hypothetical event. Nobody except you. Quote
Big E Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 If the folk outside the shop do try and intimidate shoppers they are cunts. I would be ashamed if it happened. I can see it being rowdy track suit wearers (not gumbo) who end up smashing up the shop Quote

Traf Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Sat 8th June outside club shop next protest for those interested. You've turned into that Harry Enfield character. You've built up a whole scenario in your head without any input from anyone else. davidjack Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I'm not sure how any reading of that leads to any fears of threats or intimidation. And it didn't come from one of the 'protestors'. If it does happen it seems reasonable to have it at the place where the offending articles are on sale. Call me old fashioned. But that's a long way from saying anyone wishing to purchase said articles is going to be stopped from doing so. Quote
superbobby Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 £500,000 over 2 years, that should work out to about £1m after interest and admin!! Quote
DomRepWanderer Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 £500,000 over 2 years, that should work out to about £1m after interest and admin!! With missed payments, maybe getting on for £10m, fucking good deal if you ask me. Quote
paulhanley Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 For some bizarre reason you decided this was all about lefties, the point you were making was in my opinion bollocks. If you do not like that please remember I do not give a shit. The sponsor will not affect the likelihood of me attending matches but I still think it is a terrible choice, you stick a cheap nasty name as your principal partner then it reflects badly on your brand. I don't necessarily disagree and would much rather we had someone else sponsoring us. However, self righteous indignation annoys me. People should take personal responsibility. If that happened, they'd manage their own finances in a way that would mean there would be no market for QuickQuid. People who want to airbrush personal responsibility from every debate tend to be from the left rather than the right. The very same people who overspent this country's budget every year from 2000 to 2010 leading to the mess we are now in. That makes them hypocrites for moaning about QuickQuid. The point was that I suspected left of centre people would have been those at the protest. Union activists, rent-a-gob types. I could be wrong ... but its usually the case I'm afraid. Quote
Ratwhite Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Bit different to the 1,500+ that have signed that petition. Which forward thinker organised the high vis steward!! Wonder if he was in radio contact in case he required assistance. Any road, fucking pathetic. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Can't believe an MP travelled all the way from Walthamstow to take part in that. Sure she must have more important things to do to justify her salary. Quote

Ani Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 The new shirts are going to be £45. Or you can pay £20 per month for 12 months. This post has been borrowed from elsewhere. Quote

Plus surely outside the main entrance would be a better place IMO Quote
mannyroad58 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Folk need to get a fucking grip There are loads of these money lending companies knocking about these days, they may be charging well over the odds to use them but that's everyone's individual choice, not mine but i don't have a problem with those that do use them, they must be either desperate or fucking nuts or both but then again is their choice and it's nothing what so ever to do with Bolton Wanderers. The club is a business and it needs as much money as possible to survive and obviously their wasn't a queue of sponsors banging on Gartsides door throwing money at him. If folk protest and don't buy the shirt then so be it BWFC will still have the cash in the bank eitherway I hope to fuck someone stops me in the street asking me for my signature as they won't know what the fuck has hit them Quote

Carlos Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 People on here say it's regulated. But the code of conduct is voluntary. The OFT are a total joke, as proven by the banking and LIBOR scandals. Quote
