He definitely had a larger frame but hey ho, just glad they got round to honouring the guy.. I still remember the stuffing we got from Chelsea in the wake of his death, it left me feeling empty.

The statue is a good likeness of Kevin Davies, the sculptor needs to do a new head.

It looks like somehow Nicky Hunts shoulders have been included in Nats statue. Not a good effort in my honest opinion.

I like it ... only criticism is he should be in action like Hughie McIlmoyles statue at Carlisle where he is shown heading a ball

I think Lofthouse size is a misconception he was not very tall and not heavily bulked with muscle I think his physique looks spot on just his head looks to big for his body.

I think it's very forward-thinking of the club to have a characature type statue.

Take the Bolton badge off it and ask people to identify it, they'd have no chance.
