Next month sees the start of severe weather hitting our glorious country and hopefully cutting Scotland adrift from us.

 

My mucker up there who works for the Met Office,says November will bring very bad snowfalls and possibly record low temperatures for that time of the year.

 

He was pretty accurate re the nce summer we had and is adamant this winter will be severe.

 

All goes back to the ''blockers'' he told me about early this year.

Well it's clear as a bell here my friend with 25-30mph winds, looks like any shite has been blown in with it coming from the west.

 

This vortex jobby looks like its headed directly from the north west and down into Newfoundland,Canada and the good old US of A.

 

Would take a hell of a gust to send it this way but you never know.

 

I've got my long johns on today and must admit I was bit clammy earlier on in the sunshine. (9.5c)

We could do with a bit of cold weather- it's been so relatively mild this winter it's beginning to feel like early spring- birds singing in the morning and evening already.

 

It'll be shit if everything starts sprouting then the frost and snow comes in Feb and damages all the plantrs
