Coyle fair enough, he fooled us all. But a lot doubted Sammy Lee could make the transition from good coach and as for Megson & Freedman well they were left field appointments and big gambles at the time by Mr Gartside. Hence the 'people who know football will understand' comment. Hindsight nothing to do with those IMO, in fact Megsons cheerleaders argue he failed because the great unwashed were against him from the start.
