The mills, the hills, the cobbles - for better or worse Bolton is in my blood. I've been travelling since I was old enough to do so on mi own, back in the days of climbing rickety steps in some building that should've probably been condemned, behind the Army Recruitment Office, to book flights only for extortionate prices... Been all over this country, for holidays and work/study/gigs/concerts/raves etc. and to follow Bolton. I'd rather live here, twenty minutes from Manchester, forty minutes from Manchester Airport (or Liverpool airport) and the wider world, than say, Norwich or the home counties. If that makes me insular and lacking in 'cosmopolitan' status I couldn't give a monkeys. All I want now is a flat cap and a pint of flat cap... Indeed my good man, indeed. Been all over the world, travelling not living, peasants.

April 4, 201412 yr Been lucky in that my job has taken me all round the Highlands. Achiltibuie was actually Tanera Mhor and the my eldest has it on his birth certificate which is quite unique. Been in Orkney 5 years now, wont be moving for a while
