Dougies Deadwood

Beckford

Baptiste

Medo

Hall

Spearing

Plenty in wages there i reckon

No problem with Hall myself. Think he's going to be a good one. Thought Lennon would have got more out of Medo, but I trust him and we can't have 14k in wages not contributing.

Don't get peoples problem with Hall, people are happy to give our youth a try and he's no older than them. Give him time.

As for Medo, he looked quality in our play off push under Druggie, he got smashed in a tackle in that night game at Leicester and never seemed the same since.

If medos on £14k a week I'll platt sawdust no chance dougies didn't do much right but reducing the wage bill was something he did pretty bloody well the fact some of the players were wank is another thread

Not got rid of any of them permanently obviously that's down to the stupid wages their on must be about 4 million per year there in wages. No doubt they will all run down there contracts because no one going to offer them a contact at there current wage.

Which is why they are deadwood

Jack Collison released by Ipswich. Worth a bash?

He signed for Ipswich in September until the end of the year, but never played due to recurring injuries.

Has a history of knee problems, ....

It's not difficult to offload higher paid players who other clubs want and replace them with lower paid players. The trick is signing players we don't need to offload again.

No the bloke we signed from Norwich, Marc Tierney.

I think he's screwed. Last I heard we were considering a mutual termination of his contract.

Bear in mind that I did hear that on here though! :-)

Was that him that was stabbed in the legs at the party??

Seems we're in a mess in terms of freedom to act in the transfer market. I thought NL would have an immediate impact in the window but his hands seem to be tied.

Can we not sue OC & DF for utter incompetence which has had a crippling affect on my club?

NL must be pissed off

It will be a bit of a reality check for Lennon, when at Celtic I would imagine almost every Scottish play would walk over glass to play for them, not so much at Bolton, far more teams at the same level competing for a small amount of players

course theyre fcuking tied

lennon has got the same deal as freedman

even coyle had to sell cahill to get ream and sordell

just look at where our recent signings have come from

how many were regular starters at their clubs?

lennon seems to want to take one of celtics best players

not some fcuker who cant get a game for millwall

Wonder if PG gave any assurances when he took Lennon on?

"Oh by the way, don't think you'll be spending money to improve us, just polish this turd"

This team has had crucial injuries but there's not much more polishing to be done, surely

Yes people seem to think that because we've won a few Eddie will turn on the tap again. He clearly isn't and won't. So situation the same as before. No money to spend and hard to bring in decent players.

We have a manager who from what I've seen and heard, is probably too good for us. The best since Sam. And this is how we treat him. We will therefore continue to reap what we sow.

The buzz in back in the club. Fans have started to believe and it seems that we are not worthy of this manager. Doomed I tell thee, doomed!????

I think that the only things that have happened is Lennon didn't realise that nobody would want half the shite that we have and thus freed up funds for wages etc would be so bloody difficult.

I also think he overestimated how big a pull BWFC were to players which has been proven with the boy choosing sheff weds over us

I think the financial constraints were explained he just didn't realise how hard it would be to work within it

How we treat him? What are you on about? He gets paid to do a job. What are the club supposed to do? Go bankrupt because Neil Lennon has done well so far?
