Russell slade at Leyton orient has apparently is under pressure, according to the wireless, he has done wonders there since taking over 2 seasons ago. I'd give him a chance. Got em from relegation trouble to touching distance of the playoffs and then into the playoffs last season

He would think it was Christmas everyday if he got the job here.

“I am desperate to be top of the league but I’m a very realistic person and I know that the clubs up there are spending money that we simply don’t have. My job has been to balance the books and make sure we keep some spirit and some fight, and I think I have done that."

Football managers and their excuses. Nothing is ever their fucking fault. He's had one of the biggest transfer budgets in the Championship in the last couple of seasons. Funny how he conveniently fails to mention the money he's wasted.

Snoop john in disagree shocker

Gobshite

I was just asking for proof of the statement that he's had a huge transfer budget. I don't remember it, unless he's also including the first season Freedman was here when we gambled slightly to try and get promoted before FFP kicked in.

If he was going, they wouldn't be financial the Clayton deal.

Surely in approx 45 minutes.

If we lose, I think he's gone. Get a draw and he'll survive another week. Either way, I don't think he's going to be here for much longer, it's clear he's a bit out of his depth

are you still gonna tell us that beckford cost a million?

To be fair, not many clubs in the championship have a big net spend. Most are balancing books. We have not really received anything in transfer fees, so we havent spent owt

Bet he cost and is on more than most strikers in this division.

Along with Spearing,mills,wheater,Chungy etc.

The skint excuse is the one excuse that does my head in the most in all this.

We have no less money than everyone else bar 4-5 clubs.

utter, utter bullshit

look through the table and post that again

i'll then tell you you've lost it

for a start, six clubs still have parachute money

you can then add derby and forest

from there, i'd need to start checking but i'd put leeds, wolves, ipswich and brighton above us without too many concerns

couple of wildcards, including bournemouth

anyway, burnley went up with no money

but plenty more didn't
