November 6, 201510 yr Russia's flatdick foriegn minister skitz-ing out about Cameron possibly knowing about things beforehand is funny. They couldve just asked Ed Snowden what MI6 knew. Does SORM2 not play nice with Echelon ? Edited November 6, 201510 yr by e2e4
November 6, 201510 yr All these British moaning on the TV about the embassy and airlines because they have been stuck in Sharm airport for 3 days A plane has been blown up for fuck sake, they are making sure the same doesn't happen to you, the same folk would be up in arms of the government did nothing and another british plane got blown up Fucking hypocrites Any road - Egypt has been on and off the 'only go there with extreme caution' list for years, that's why it's dirt cheap Yet the cheapskates moan when they are the unlucky ones it turns sour on If you can't afford a non dangerous holiday and are likely to moan like a bitch when it turns sour then stay at home and paint the fucking shed. Don't piss and moan when a plane gets blown up and your stranded for a few days Wankers Have a massive + 1 I bet those rescue planes fucking stink when they land back here
November 6, 201510 yr I often people watch holiday makers and they are invariably irritating cunts. One wonders what they're like in real life. That Friday night/Saturday morning Manchester to Dubai flight is getting unbearable when I go in economy, it's full of them.
November 6, 201510 yr I saw no end of Union Jack suitcases and t shirts in the news. Moaning about the bags arriving later. FUCK OFF YOU UNGRATEFUL TWATS. I half hope they would get blown up. They can grab their fucking suitcases at 33000 feet as they hurtle to earth.

Someone tap Iain on the shoulder to get his standard "thinly veiled" line in, however... If you think that's bad try flying domestic from terminal three in the summer months, you are overrun with bargain hunting holidaymakers on the piss in hi vis hen gear. Destinations as exotic as Faro and Alicante bring out all the sights. Not what you want to see whilst sipping your coffee at the start of the working day. Made even worse when you're only off to fucking Southampton for the day!
November 6, 201510 yr Bristol to Dublin today. Very civil and we did not crash. Very important that. I did Ryanair Dublin to Manchester yesterday and people whooped and clapped when we landed. To be fair, they did seem to be absolutely wasted.
November 7, 201510 yr The pictures from Sharma El Sheikh and the lines upon lines of British holiday makers to whinge to a TV camera is incredible
November 7, 201510 yr They seem to think that all the delays are to piss them off. They haven't grasped that it's for their safety.
November 7, 201510 yr They seem to think that all the delays are to piss them off. They haven't grasped that it's for their safety. It pissed me off seeing them give abuse to the guy from the British Consulate. FFS! Don't they realise 200 people got blown out of the sky just a few days earlier. The insensitive idiots.
November 8, 201510 yr When I heard on the radio that they were sending over empty planes.. And transporting luggage separately.. I couldn't believe how quickly they had come up with a plan.. It's clearly been planned in advance and considering all the circumstances (Let's be honest anywhere in that region has been risky for a while) the government are handling the crisis to the best of their abilities

It's clearly been planned in advance and considering all the circumstances (Let's be honest anywhere in that region has been risky for a while) the government are handling the crisis to the best of their abilities So how come they didn't take account of the fact that the number of planes which would be accommodated each day would be limited?

November 8, 201510 yr There's a news story about a Thompson plane dodging a missile a few weeks or months ago. The news of this broke following the Russian plane going down. You'd think highlighting the issue as soon as it happened may have allowed others to change flight details based on current issues.

I wouldn't have thought a 757 laden with a full complement of passengers could dodge a cloud never mind a ground to air missile. JSL.
November 8, 201510 yr If I was over there, I'd be fine, so long as my cat was being fed. I'm doubtful the boss would be so sympathetic though and somehow it would be my fault.

November 9, 201510 yr I have just had an email from Thomson informing me that my holiday to Sharm is now cancelled, I should have gone on the 24th November, thank you to the dirty cowardly terrorist bastards, may yo rot in hell

Every cloud and all that
November 9, 201510 yr I wouldn't have thought a 757 laden with a full complement of passengers could dodge a cloud never mind a ground to air missile. JSL. 757's are massively overpowered. Even the way Thompson pack them in, if need be, it can still be thrown about a fair bit.
November 9, 201510 yr 757's are massively overpowered. Even the way Thompson pack them in, if need be, it can still be thrown about a fair bit. I am no expert on passenger jets or surface to air missiles so am happy to be proved wrong; but the idea that a pilot of a charter plane decending into Sharm airport saw a missile on radar and banked left to miss it seems pretty implausible to me.

Not if Bruce Willis or another man in a vest was flying it....
