  • I think nailing one of my bollocks to the garage door will slightly edge it for things to do on a Tuesday night.

Or maybe we could get behind the team for 90mins and keep the bed sheets and protesting for after the games.   It just might help you never know.

  • Beckford to start up front on his own on Saturday. Nailed on.

Didn't think I'd be asking this earlier.

Any spares?

The lad will be happy to pay as well, I reckon.

Bed sheets out in force tonight . Well at least the ground won't look as empty I suppose.

4-1 to us, 4-4-2 with four different scorers. COYFWM :)

Im actually starting to look forward to the match now. Must be fucking ill or sick in the head one of the two.

was saying to lad at work just now this could be a real low if we don't win

can't see us doing lower than QPR at home in something like 2000 where there was just over 10k on, and we had that many s/ts

(and that was during a good run/promotion year)

but I do think we'll try to control the game whilst not in possession, you know, like we did on sat

Always had it in my head our lowest was That Brum 3-3 match the same year, closely followed by Qpr.

Have I got it wrong?

Either it's all shite.

another 0-0. A point that will keep dougie in a job

if we do lose/draw tonight, then we go a goal down on saturday at wolves, the atmosphere will be fucking poisonous

I thought it was Brum. Sunday TV game, I didn't use my ST that day as Leigh RL had a play off game IIRC. I think Saturday's 12,000 home fans is the lowest they'll announce this season, even though the true figure inside the ground may be much less. Far too easy to blag the 'attendance' and be able to say people had tickets (including comps) and not turn up etc etc.

As for tonight, I'm genuinely looking forward more to having a KFC than I am going to the game.

Really not looking forward to going the game tonight. Going for a very nervy 1-0.

Just looked it up out of curiousity, the QPR game on 31/10/00 was 10180, the Birmingham game the season before on 5/9/99 was 11668. I must admit i thought it was the Birmingham game too.

Agreed

I've just been on twitter and somebody has made a banner that says "Play with Freedom not Freedman - Freedman Out"

Im off to the pub to get shit faced before tonight's game. That will be embarrassing if that makes an apperance

had to check as I don't even remember the 3-3

anyway

Brum 99/00 = 11,668 (3-3)

QPR 00/01 = 10,180 (3-1)

only reason I remember QPR one is because it was lower than then number of STs including away fans

and I think Peter Crouch scored a header

be surprised if we've had a lower league attendance than that

only lowest attendance stat I can find for Reebok is Gillingham in league cup in 99/00 with 3673

These players dont seem to understand that you need to shoot to score goals

I only remember the 3-3 because its the only time I've ever touched the ball.

Landed right in my arms in ESL.

Can't see tonight being lower than any of those two, mainly because of rotherhams 1200+

had to check as I don't even remember the 3-3

Watched it in Kardamena. Per Frandsen had a shot on target where their man saved it, got sent off and Deano put the penalty away?

As pretty much every club includes non-attending ST's in figures these days,, we'll never announce an attendance lower than that again, at least until ST sales inevitably nosedive if results don't improve this season. Weirdly I was just about to Google if Crouch scored that day to see if I was thinking of the same day.

Big win tonight to get the season up and running. 4-0 to the Super Whites.

Was that Brum game Colin Todd's last as our manager because he was forced to sell Frandsen to the chicken botherers?

I'm also quite looking forward to tonight, for some weird reason. I've heard there will be a banner which is around 30ft x 4ft and it will just read "freedman out" it is supposed to come out around the halfway line in the ESU. It will be interesting to see if this banner appears, as the lad that apparently had it made, he's a bit of a rum one and he doesn't bull shit.

Don't shoot the messenger though!  :innocent:

Seen one knocking around on Facebook very small time IMO banners and bed sheets even tho freedman is the problem it will just have a bad impact on the players who we should be getting behind,it's like going back to the megson days

aye, that worked well

'it can't get any worse'

trust me lads, it can and it did

when matchday comes....... always get that excitement for some insane reason

COYWM 2 -0

aye, that worked well

trust me lads, it can and it did

And it will, if we don't change something.

Surely even you casino must be doubting if he's the right man by now?
