  • If I thought he could get us back on track and challenging in this league again, I'd have Bin fucking Laden.   Getting precious about some fucking small time sectarian bullshit is a luxury we cannot

  • It's only seen as divisive by people who want to see it that way. What the fuck has he done wrong? Apart from stand up to the most vicious sectarian campaign of intimidation by people 'loyal' to somet

Lennon won't even interview, off to play Laurence of Arabia #easyroutetopounds

When's Benny, sorry Keith, hills interview

I thought Bolton didn't like Rangers anymore after they twatted us in Porto

Go on then I'll bite. What's with your campaign against hill?

Was gonna ask the same. He's worked wonders at dale and did ok at Barnsley with some tough restrictions?

He's from Bolton,silly billy's.

Would send out message of accepting averageness to me. Get one of the other mentioned names in I feel would lift the atmosphere more. I know we are a long way off Top six but it'd send message we do want to get back there. Hill, unlike allardyce, has had a go in this league. If I went to that league it would be a Robinson I'd go for. But not the time as others have said

I didn't know where he was from but for being northern. Honest

Maybe a cunt like Lennon is what we need

Kick the shit we have into shape and I can't see him being a yes man either

Lennon In

So it's a choice between and Neo Nazi and a fully fledged member of the Real IRA?

Plus a bloke who hates chinks and women.

No money, bottom of the barrel time, I'm afraid!

is one of us lot getting it?

I was just curious as to why anyone would feel strongly enough to kick off with him in a Horwich pub, when he's not even got the job yet...unless they had strong anti-Celtic/anti-Irish/anti-Catholic sentiments - delete as appropriate. There are lots of people in the game you might have a negative view of, but you're unlikely to want to beat them up, especially, as I say, if they've done nothing against your club...unless other things are at play...?

Jackoff - you talk shiyte in general but you are right that he doesn't have the job yet. Let's hope he never gets it as I suspect you would find it would be one of the most divisive appointments we could ever make.

It doesn't have to be anti catholic or anti Irish as NB has already repeated a few times. It's the IRA sympathies I fucking object to.

I remember Warrington, the M6, Manchester etc. and I'll never forgive or forget. I'd rather have Yoko Lennon as manager.

he's not wired up reet

ignore him

I must have missed that statement where he declared his support for the IRA.

I don't know who I want. Bad points to all of them. Anyone could get that Newcastle team promoted like Hughton did and he spent a lot of money at Norwich and did a terrible job. Mowbray did a terrible job at boro. It's tricky. I guess I'd like someone and Jimmy. Get some of our neglected kids back in contention

It'll be Phil Brown, I reckon, whether we like it or not.

The penultimate word in that quote in the Guardian is the key word.

“There is always going to be speculation about myself and Bolton, whenever the job comes up. I had 15-odd years there as a player and coach. We had some great times under Sam Allardyce. I’ve had no contact with Bolton Wanderers officially, though.”

The voice of reason.

As ever.

Worth another £5 that.

One thing about Steve Clarke, unless he has pissed people off he's has good connections with the top teams for loans. Its the only way we are going to get to see potential stars playing for the whites for a long time....

To be fair I am pleasantly surprised at the names within the current financial state. They won't be cheap, but are out of work I suppose.

No one else confused?

Still time to get the cheap, left field, yes man yet!

Paul Ince spotted coming out of Lucianos at Middlebrook first thing this morning with Uncle Phil.

Interesting remark from Charlie Nicholas (I don't know if he was sitting there when he thought this):

"Charlie Nicholas, a former Celtic and Arsenal striker and now a TV pundit, said even if Lennon ended up at a club in the English Championship – the second tier – it might renew an appetite for the game that has waned in Scotland."

Article also mentions that one of the reasons it is thought that Lennon left is that he was fed up working with tight financial restrictions.
