SalfordOriginal Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Get Tomo back as his number 2 then they can all go down Supa's after the match.. Team spirit would be second to none and would get them closer to the fans Come on Phil you know it makes sense Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Peter Reid is interested in a role at the club I'd love it if he was involved in some way one of my favourite Bolton players. Quote
no balls Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Lennon in a Htown pub. I'd pay good money for a ringside seat Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 And before anyone says owt about our number one candidate's beliefs, speaking as an almost lifelong pisspot, I found Owen Coyle's worldview highly offensive, but I put this aside and gave him a chance for the good of our club. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 He'd be welcome down Lever Street instead, The Ukrainian Club near Chadwick Campus too... Quote
Carlos Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Horwich full of Rangers fans is it? Loyalists, Johnny Mad Dog Adair and his mates. Quote
Campos_Wig Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Some interesting comments about Lennon here http://kerrydalestreet.co.uk/topic/9161532/1/ Just goes to show you how people sitting next to each other see the same thing differently, he bought a team of unknown or average players and had us playing some nice attacking football, got to the last 16, got our first away win in the CL proper , his team broke records, celtic probably made the most cash they have ever made from player sales, he had to try and replace those players every season, he lost the league up at Inverness in a season where we had a group of unknown players where the average age of the team was 22, the oldest players being Commons , Brown and Sammy, the last 2 only being 26 years old, he done a job that O'neil and Strachan probably wouldn't touch in the first place never mind stick it out as long as he did, we did go out of more cups than we should have, but over all he was a very decent manager for us. Casino Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 id be ok with lennon btw but im not sure i can be arsed with the lennon out chants when we concede one in a 5-1 demolition of united Quote
no balls Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Iirc, Andy Walker thinks Lennon is a bit of a cock. As I said previously, you don't have to be Protestant or a Rangers fan to dislike him. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 We've just had two you'd probably enjoy a pint or a coke with, let's have a cock in for a change (hello sailor!)... Quote
davidjack Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I was just curious as to why anyone would feel strongly enough to kick off with him in a Horwich pub, when he's not even got the job yet...unless they had strong anti-Celtic/anti-Irish/anti-Catholic sentiments - delete as appropriate. There are lots of people in the game you might have a negative view of, but you're unlikely to want to beat them up, especially, as I say, if they've done nothing against your club...unless other things are at play...? no balls Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 That man can clearly cause a row in an empty pub. I'm local to John's pub so it would be amusing to see him act the cock. You really need to read a little less into posts. Quote

no balls Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I think she knows that. She does. I find him a divisive figure. In all seriousness, I think he will be bad for the club, especially at a time we all need to be unified. Quote
