Sweep Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) If Neil Lennon was even considered folk would be getting their bedsheets and pitchforks out before he set foot in the ground Edited October 7, 2014 by CWP Quote
Nowack Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 If Clarke applied, I'd appoint him without interview, photo with a scarf, done. This. I don't think he will though. Quote
Carlos Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 The job spec should say no Scotch, no ginges. Quote
Keith Lard Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 This. I don't think he will though. Clarke has already been interviewed. Quote
Danny G Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I don't think we would pay him enough. Mowbray I think, realistically is the best option Quote
only1swanny Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Clarke has been interviewed... Source ? Quote
Carlos Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Clarke has been interviewed... Source ? Man in pub. Quote
Keith Lard Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 My source is alan Nixon. Apparently Clarke, hughton, Mowbray and Mackay have all been interviewed. Quote
no balls Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Keith, if you're reet I'd be happy with that one. If you're teasing, that's cruel Quote
jayjay Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Over the moon with Clarke. Be happy with Mowbray too. We seem to have some great options if it's all true. I may have underestimated how popular the job would be. Didn't think we would get that calibre interested with the shit were in financially. Quote

white noise Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 When they realise the scope of the financial squeeze, the shortlist will probably be very short! Quote
Casino Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 When they realise the scope of the financial squeeze, the shortlist will probably be very short! i was going to say, its one thing applying, its another accepting the offer thing is, they'll all be confident they can make a go of it and 1.5 million over 3 years takes some turning down Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I;d be amazed if Clarke ,Mowbray, Hughton and McKay have all been interview since we got rid of DF last Friday. Quote

Casino Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I;d be amazed if Clarke ,Mowbray, Hughton and McKay have all been interview since we got rid of DF last Friday. i think nixon said 3 folk had been interviewed by mid afternoon today if the same folk are on each interview i find it hard to believe, too Quote
Guest Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Nixon says we've spoken to 3. Spoken is not necessarily an interview. Could just be a brief phone chat to outline the position and gauge initial interest based on a few of the details? Suspect from there they narrow down to more structured interviews. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) Maybe its this telephone interview thing. Speed interviewing - its the future All go in one room and people move about interviewing each other Could even work for arranging dates - no that's going too far Edited October 7, 2014 by RUREADY2ROLL Quote
Ratwhite Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Clarke, Houghtom, Mackay interviewed Coyle, Megson, Flitcroft(s), Brown, Othershite next Quote
only1swanny Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 if someone offered me 500k a year I'd set off for an interview in about 5 mins time.... so wouldn't surprise me at all that they have interviewed 3 people since Thursday/Friday.. Most were probably interviewed Saturday, which would have made an interesting experience with a portion of fans shouting "Gartside out", Quote
HR Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Cant see Brown even being considered while Garside's in charge. Quote
DomRepWanderer Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 We won't be paying compo to anyone, so it has to be someone out of work. Quote
tarian1979 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 If that three have been interviewed that's a great start. Exactly the three we should be looking at if possible. Bollocks to interviewing anyone else. One of those for job Quote
