davidjack Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Biggest Bolton support in home end since when? Quote
davidjack Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Several thousand in there that night - all across the ground. First time we played at Ewood in the Prem in 95-96 half the main stand went up when we scored. Quote
davidjack Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Wigan every time we played there in the 80s and early 90s and Bury in play-off semi in 91 also stick out in my mind. Quote
gonzo Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Just spoke to a lad that works for Blackpool. He send 100's tickets have been dispatched to the greater Manchester area for the home ends. Quote
L/H White Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) Just spoke to a lad that works for Blackpool. He send 100's tickets have been dispatched to the greater Manchester area for the home ends. Bolton here, Bolton there, Bolton every fucking where Edited November 12, 2014 by Ryan Quote
smeghead83 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) Last time we played them in the premier at Bloomfield it was a pain getting in. Turned up at the ground at 10 to 3, didn't get in til ten past, think the scoreline was already 1-1 by then. Edited November 12, 2014 by smeghead83 Quote
davidjack Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Yeah, that first season was a shambles. Second was better - we came in through a different entrance. Missed last season. Quote
COYW Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Also remember being absolutely gutted (the Xmas after I think?) when our game at Bury was called off cos of a frozen pitch on the day of the game - on about Dec 28th I think. I got all the way to the ground before i knew it had been called off. No mobile phones in those days. Quote
Zico Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Biggest Bolton support in home end since when? Not the biggest wouldn't have thought but Bradford in the 100 goals season Can see plenty in the home end on the action replays on the compilation vids Quote

My dad got me and him tickets off Brian Edwards as he was Bradford physio at the time. Quote

Traf Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Me plus 4 in the main stand too. Halfway back, level with edge of box, just to the side of the away end. Quote

leigh white Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Had to travel to Oldham and Trashmere for tickets in the home ends because our allocation had been snapped up, was in the home end behind the goal at Bradford in the 4-2 win. Quote

davidjack Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Plenty at Old Trafford (including me) the first season in Prem when there were supposed to be no away fans cos of redevelopment work going on. A lot seemed to miss out on tickets for our first Prem win there in 2001 and went in home ends then too. Sad to say but there won't be the same clamour when we're next back up (next year?!)...partly cos it'll be less of a novelty but mainly cos of the ridiculous prices these days -£45-£50. United and Liverpool used to be quite reasonably priced...not anymore. Quote
