I think that may depend on what influenced the ref's decision to abandon the game. If it's weather or ground condition issues; roof falls in, etc. it is hugely different than a dilliberate attempt at causing abandonment.

 

Sheff Utd V WBA a few seasons ago. Sheff U went down to seven men due to sendings off and Warnock instructed one of his players to go down injured to cause an abandonment. WBA were awarded the points anyway.
