Ratwhite Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Train to Poulton will be a no-go lads Stockport's lot are known to have planned a train to Poulton for 9am rather than Kirkham or Wesham etc so anyone landing there is likely to be rounded up. I'm not bothering hanging about at Poulton station being grouped up until the next few trains come in whilst others are boozing in Blackpool Best heading straight into town... Just looked where AFC Fyldes ground is, them Stockport lads have got a feckin long walk to Warton for that match - 11.1 mile to be precise https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=poulton+to+warton&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari (Feel a bit like Malcolm) Quote
Ratwhite Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 2-3 Two players sent off. Eagles to score One pitch "invader" on 53mins (not sure which end they'll be from) A smell of fish and chips and piss Quote
paulhanley Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 1-1. We'll take the lead and they'll equalise late on - as always seems to happen at Blackpool. No pitch invasion. Plenty of Bolton fans in the Blackpool end with little eruptions of trouble just after Bolton score. Our goal to be scored by Max Clayton. Quote

embankment Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 r That's a great plan. My Gruffalo fancy dress costume is in the dry cleaners though, which might be an issue Where's The Dog? The dog is on bogroll enhancement duty.Gruffalo's are banned from the Fylde coast area due to the unfortunate misunderstanding incident under the south pier with Daisy donkey. The judge didn't believe Sputnik when he said he thought it was a welsh bird dressed up. Quote

gonzo Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Eagles statement in the gazette today .... What a relief to finally have signed! The contract was completed days ago but unfortunately I have only just been officially registered. To be fair Chris Hough the club secretary profusely apologised. Apparently he was still dealing with the mess that Jose Riga left behind. Besides, the fax machine was on the blink again. My wife initially had concerns about my move to Blackpool. I assured her that the 1+1 year contract gave me the flexibility to leave the club as soon as was realistically possible. "Don't worry honey, its just until I can find a more lucrative offer." She shot me a glance to suggest I was in dreamland. "Don't be so cynical" I replied. "Fleetwood are just down the road." I must confess, I'm looking forward to buying into the unique way Blackpool FC do things. I've always envied them, as have all of the football league. As a professional player for over a decade, its certainly refreshing having to wash my own kit. I never got the opportunity when I was a youngster as even the local school leagues had somebody to do this for you. I’m excited about training tomorrow. It was an unexpected bonus to find out that I had breakfast included. Apparently Stan the Groundsman makes a wonderful porridge! It’s strange to think only a few weeks ago my career was on a downward spiral, and look at me now! I can hardly contain myself at playing at the highest level again. To grace the pitch with players such as Lundstrom and McMahon. What a privilege! I will be sure to keep you updated on how training progresses but for now I must go.I’m having a night out with Nile and Owen. What could go wrong? Peace Chris Eagles Quote
