Given up with the idea of the train and am going to get there via road.

Arranged a meet via local so should be sweet.

Only small numbers but should be a proper carve up.

Why would anyone want to go to Poulton? Top boys are going via road and will be settled in a nice back street boozer while others will be supping pints of piss at 4.50 a pint in a plastic glass listening to a shit Chubby Brown impersonator.

That's what we're doing. We often travel to away games on the train, but we don't bother if it's a local derby, far too much hassle. There are four of us leaving by car from Culcheth at 11 am, we should be parked up real close to the ground by 12 ish and then we're off to the boozer and getting pissed, well three of us are anyway.

Train to Poulton will be a no-go lads

Stockport's lot are known to have planned a train to Poulton for 9am rather than Kirkham or Wesham etc so anyone landing there is likely to be rounded up. I'm not bothering hanging about at Poulton station being grouped up until the next few trains come in whilst others are boozing in Blackpool

Best heading straight into town...

Straight into town at 12 for me, I don't think they will be grouping everybody up until around 1 anyway

I should be OK, police normally ignore "old blokes"

We've enlisted a woman so we look like a (fuckingwell strange) family!!

'No officer, we're off to the pier to watch Frankie Bell End and the Reacharounds'...

Get the train to Southport and dinghy across the Ribble estuary.

Dinghy ...... luxury

When I was a lad we would have to make our own raft and use lolly pop sticks to cross ribble estuary to get to Blackpool vs Bowton games
