Try living in an area where the local pub is mainly half Spurs and half Arsenal, with a Bolton fan chucked in

Haha same here in Manc. Both sets bore the fucking life out of each other comparing who’s won what and when. No Leeds fans but a few Oldham who absolutely despise BWFC. At least the Mancs give me patronising sympathy for supporting a shit team. Cunts

I feel your pain. 6 miles from the Emirates and 4 miles from Spurs. The pubs are intolerable if either are playing.

Thankfully my local has a great outdoor space and an area without TVs, so I can avoid them if I want to. That said, the guys I go to the pub with are Arsenal / Spurs fans…

Grew up in Chorlton (before it was posh and when City played at Maine Road) and went to school in Trafford. Got a fair amount of stick being a Bolton fan.

My dislike of Wolves the club comes from being a Bolton fan. During my time living Midlands way their fans I met were decent lads football rivalry banter aside. Villa fans were always a bell end be it in the pub watching footy or playing student league of a Sunday morning.

Absolutely. Taken them from bottom 6 to Champions League, really knows what he's doing. 

I suppose you've got teams with top 4 players not playing like that and sides like Villa who might not have top 4 players playing like a top 4 side

Villa fans whinge a lot and don’t rate their own players. I hear a lot of “Cash is a liability”, “Watkins works hard but no end product” “Rodgers is overrrated” etc etc and yet they have talent throughout. Martinez is a wind up merchant but the best goalie in the league IMO, Captain John McGinn is an aging genius in a strong midfield, defence is solid.

”On paper” they aren’t the most expensive headline signings but Emery has put together an excellent team very astutely with discarded older players the likes of Lindelof on a free, Ross Barkley, Tielemans and some clever young signings eg. an excellent back up goalie for half a million and the likes of Onana plus clever loans e.g Elliot and Sancho.

Its a very balanced squad and they play as a team.
