I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Doesn’t matter, Saints (or Boro) will do either of them.

Probably, but I think the same also applies to those two as well

They just said Millwall have never won a home play off leg, that’s grim.

We are the only team to win at home out of 5, and only 1 other team has even scored at home.  Hopefully away teams continue to prosper this week.

Only team to win at home in 7 games across the Championship, league 1 and league 2 playoffs so far. I’d love there to be no more home wins.

Oh yeah, 7 games not 5.

Amazing stat really, although the "worse" team has been at home in the first 6 so no big surprises, I think its the lack of goals by home teams that is the stand out.  Long may it continue.

Boro ,1:0 up away teams doing well

I can’t watch these play-off games without any enjoyment, I just keep playing out too many scenarios for our game! 😂

Gonna see if the Mrs wants to watch something on Netflix

Good game. No idea what has been said for everyone to be pissed off. I reckon someone threatened to cut Aylings hair

His head has gone.

Broken record on this but considering play off goals are so hard to come by, another where they bring everyone back and just leave someone at the back post unmarked.

But they did have 5 covering the near post so that was useful.

haha

nah they're great.

Loving it without VAR - lots of 50/50 penalty decisions. Refereeing as it should be done in the moment.

Football as it be should be.

Part of me wonders whether, as a Premier League referee, Madley had just forgotten how to give a decision without VAR. I think there would've been at least two if not three given in a PL or CL game.

But the game is all the better for it. The threshold for giving a team an 80% chance of scoring should be high. Football seems to have lost sight of that.

Philips from Stevenage who got sent off against us just runs round fouling people.

We should have had these clowns in semi and made it easy for ourselves and let Bradford and Stockport battle it out.

Stockport 2-0 3-0 on aggregate

Stockport 2-0 up already and think that's done and dusted.

Stevenage are gash.

Well let's hope he continues kicking lumps out of some Stockport players now.

But you are right, he is horrible, the 'tackle' before the first was just a block with no attempt to play the ball.

Get past Bradford and we’re turning up to Wembley playing a team with Darces Cogley and a centre forward in their defence… I’ll take that

City 1-0 up.

Hearts 2-0 up in Scotland and Celtic 1-0 down at Motherwell. Hearts champions as it stands.

The God's of football just won't allow that to happen. Celtic now level.  All heading for the inevitable Celtic victory and title win when they meet each other at the weekend.

Aye

On the other hand

What a way to break the old firm domination by getting a result at their place

Be very pleasantly surprised if it happens

Here's hoping

Totally out of the blue - but that la Liga relegation scrap is something else. Not seen a table like that for a while

Hope so

Really looking forward to watching it

Motherwell only gone & scored as I’m typing this.

Changes everything for Saturday if it stays this way

Just me or is there something a bit weird about singing “Wembley again, ole ole” when you got beat there first time around.

Players jumping around on the pitch singing it - hardly a happy hunting ground.
