I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Fuck United.

Not quite a game and not today but yesterday, didn’t think it warranted a thread but heard of this before but thought it was more a traditional event, seems people take it seriously...

What the fuck :D

billy seems lovely

anyone who thinks this is down to Solksjaer and not Ferguson is a crank.

Whisky nose is closer to him than Michael Jackson to that 12 year old

Not really bothered about united getting through, quite enjoy seeing English teams getting on top, and united do seem to have more home grown players than most, so good luck to em.

However, that decision goes to show what an utter waste of time VAR is. Keep it to goal line decisions only, even offsides VAR seem to get wrong at times.

Champions league bores the arse off me. One of the reasons why football is in such a shitty state. Bollocks to them all

Generally I'd agree; though yesterday was a bit of a story.

remember when they had two league stages, crazy

can't knock the knockouts though - Utd and Ajax been pretty impressive results this week, fair play to Porto too

Aye.

No pre match excuses about psg having spent more on forwards and that defeat is to be expected.

Rather ironic that Neymar calls the penalty decision a "disgrace" given his antics at the World Cup.

Think that penalty decision belongs in New Rules Thread

some extra footage from that ball game thing

fuck me

What the fuck have I just watched!!!

That is fucking ace.

I'll think of that next time I get my lid taken off me when I buy a bottle of coke at the match.

Fucking bobbies just stood there!!!

Could’ve done with some of that lot against the Russians in Marseille

Only time any of those nobs have been in a book shop

Reminds me of that Italian free for all sport

Spot The Remainer

Looking like a complete sell out at Blackpool today, fair play to them must be some feeling waking up to a proper home matchday again.

I wonder if they'll have to deal with loads of infighting, them who went to watch Fylde or Fleetwood etc instead, coming back.

Any road, I feel happy for them. Be a lot more there when we play them next season than there was in the cup.

And there's the difference in protest between us and them. Their stay-away fans who blamed the Oystons and vowed not to return whilst they're at the club, true to their word, are returning. Ours who vowed not to return while KA is in charge will find another excuse.

Let's see how many they get regularly next season once the dust has settled before tossing off over their returning soldiers

I understand that, slightly different situation at Coventry I know but they sold out Ricoh for their first game back after their Northampton excursion, then straight back down to 10k after that.

They'll not be selling out every game but nice to have the oyston monkey off their back, so to speak...

In reality only a couple of dozen are staying away because of KA surely

I’d say most are staying away because the football is absolutely atrocious, as bad as it could ever be
