I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Looks fucking mint.

Makes me laugh when people in the takeover thread say we've got premier league facilities when it compares to something like that!

No one has better facilities or stadium than spurs now have, better to compare our facilities with, Bournemouth, Watford, Burnley, Cardiff, Everton, Huddersfield, Fulham, Leicester, Southampton, Palace, Brighton, Wolves and the like, none of which are better than ours.

It's cost around £1bn.

Ours was what, around £30m, 22 years ago.

You'd expect it to be out of this world for that money, and it appears to be so.

Decent looking eateries etc under the stands. Seems a good place to go to prior to the game. Make it more than just a football game.

Like traf said- an NFL stadium, a sporting social occasion.

I'm going to be Spurs fan when we've been put down.

Where's that doctor fella in their new stadium- maybe he could restart out heart?

For all its architectural beauty all I think of when I see coverage of Spurs ground is - "how does that filling a pint glass from the bottom work?"

Sure I read somewhere no cash either all done by top up cards

As we are unlikely to go anytime soon I'm going to try and get tickets to one of the NFL games played there next season

Very German

Did notice card payment points everywhere when sky were demonstrating how pints are poured at the massive long bar behind the goals

Presumably cash acceptable in the away end though

Debit cards, I'd guess

Was reading the big cockerel on top is an enlarged version of the original from White Hart Lane.

TThey took a 3d scan of it to get the dimensions and even included the dent that Gazza put there when he shot the original with an air rifle.

Said the same tonight!

the cashless thing is likely to be contactless payment rather than top up cards I expect. Unless you’re the type who still buys travel cards or uses Oyster.

We had bottom fill pints in the ESL a few years ago.

Aye, just asked a spurs ST mate, it's a non cash stadium

On one of the few occasions I ventured into the ESL, I joined in with the ESL Social Club and had a pint in a bottom fill pint glass. Your fingers somehow can't help themselves pushing the magnetic disc and creating a spillage. Always reminded me of this:
