Sort of thing you'd see on here.

Really? From whom? I have been around on here for a good few years now and would not have a clue who you would be referring to?

How many goals can Kane get for England? he's going to break Rooney's record barring injuries, penalty expert.

Thought England were poor 1st half today, felt like a practice match/training session.

Reckon he Could break Shearer's PL record as well

At 26 he's got 128, record is 260

He'll Def get the hat trick record, on 8, shearer got 11

Less of this blowing smoke up Sky's arse please. Football existed pre-92

What a goalscorer Jimmy Greaves was

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_football_first_tier_top_scorers#All-time_topscorers_with_over_200_goals

Nah, different game

Greaves played in an era when players training consisted of running up hills with rocks in backpacks, they got pissed every night and smoked tabs at half time

He was probably the equivalent of a championship striker playing league two opposition most weeks

Totally different playing field now

Like comparing Lewis Hamilton to Stirling Moss

Considering Greaves was probably pissed when playing half the time I'd say its some achievement.

Don't he score 2 in 3 for Milan

Dunno what that tells us

Just an observation

Lies, damned lies and statistics.

He scored 9 in 14, but he was only there for half a season. He didn't want to be there and they didn't want a malcontent, so he came to Spurs in mid season.
