Not only Europes biggest clubs, United are weak this term too. Quote

I certainly can't see Chelsea or City winning over two legs Depends if City can keep a clean sheet at home. Laporte should be back so that gives them a chance. Quote

But Nigel Adkins only took over in June 2015 on a 3 year contract and if he'd done a half decent job there wouldn't have been a vacancy. Wilder would have walked to Horwich from Northampton! He would have been in the right place for a good pair of walking boots. He nearly walked out at Sheff Utd this summer because of the ownership dispute at the club. This is now resolved and the club is under Saudi ownership. Quote

You couldnt make it up The artist's explanation I've been painting monkeys for five to six years, so I thought I'd make this work to teach that we're all apes, I made the western monkey with blue and white eyes, the Asian monkey with almond-shaped eyes and the black monkey positioned in the centre, where everything comes from. The monkey becomes the spark to teach everyone that there is no difference, there is no man or monkey, we are all alike. If anything we are all monkeys. Quote

A massive coup if they manage it. It feels like some sort of parallel universe where Everton could be getting Ancelotti and Arsenal are ready to take a punt on an untried candidate, Arteta, because he used to play for them. It should be the other way around surely?! Quote

It should be the other way around surely?! Everton's owner seems prepared to put large sums of his own money into the club, Arsenal's owner doesn't.Until they'll pay £65 million for a goalkeeper and £75 million for a centre half they'll only be the second biggest spenders on Merseyside though.I don't think Everton's owner is at that level. Traf Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 The shortlist is Ancelotti, Arteta & Moyes. I see a hitch getting Ancelotti, Arteta going to Arsenal & Moyes going back to Everton. Quote

But which owner are you talking about ?? We may actually have a "silent" owner. I you beleive the reports, then Ancelotti met with him for the job. We could easlity pay that much for players, but the doubt is if those type would come to us. Quote

And better that you pay 75 million for a centre half like Liverpool have, rather than say 80 million for a centre half like Rog's lot got Quote

Not really that mad to think we could spend more on one soon, is it ?? Prob spunk £99 million of Evans. Edited December 17, 2019 by Pablo Quote
