Johnnyrotten Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Wilder is in top 3 managers in Prem along with Klopp and Rogers. I'd back all 3 to make any team they take charge of better within 3 months. The opposite of Parky in fact. But well done Wilder, to think we interviewed him when he was at Northampton. Quote

Wilder is a better manager than guardiola? Than Sean dyche even? Give over man Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Its only my opinion, I might be wrong. I cant find fault with Wilder's teams in last 5 years. Defence good, midfield good defensively and offensively, strikers always good. Proven in Conference, Div 2, Div 1, Championship, Prem. Guardiola, great strikers, great midfilelders, defence leaves a lot to be desired. Goalkeeper only picked if he can pass it. Proven in top 4 of Prem. Unproven anywhere else. Which one would you pick to take over Sunderland, Derby or Everton next week? Genuine question. Quote

We were linked with him, never gonna choose us over sheff u as he’s a fan of them. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Sean Dyche 4th best in my opinion. Only drawback is I dont want to watch his teams as a neutral. The modern day Allardyce, Pulis, Warnock. I cant fault any of them but I wouldnt pay to watch them grind out results. Quote

He was interviewed, I agree he was never going to choose us over Sheff U. But Nigel Adkins only took over in June 2015 on a 3 year contract and if he'd done a half decent job there wouldn't have been a vacancy. Wilder would have walked to Horwich from Northampton! Quote
enzo gambaro Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 Appointing Wilder wouldn’t have paid the bills, though, would it? Quote

Johnnyrotten Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 That first half was the most one sided match I've ever seen in terms of an away team dominating. I felt embarrassed for Arsenal fans. As ridiculously good as City were, the attitude and lack of organisation at Arsenal is unbelievable for such a big club. A tackle wouldnt have gone amiss. And yes, De Bruyne, what a player, his goals at Newcastle and today just breathtaking. Quote

I certainly can't see Chelsea or City winning over two legs Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Most of Europe's biggest clubs have their worst team in years.I wouldn't fancy any of those 15 to knock Liverpool out.It will be a pleasant surprise if they don't win the trophy. Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Wolves v Espanyol not as glamorous as Bolton's last 32 draws v Marseille and Atletico Madrid. Easier though they are bottom of the league Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Man Utd draw the team running away with the Belgian league. Quote
