I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

It felt like Chelsea had about 5 seasons in a row and  they turned up and stuck at least 4 past us

Chelsea won up here the last 10 seasons in a row. The main reason Arsenal, Tottenham and to a lesser extent Liverpool struggled here was that Kevin Davies had the beating of their defence.Chelsea had defenders who won the aerial battle with Kevin Davies season in season out.

Aye, KD never had much success against John Terry  or that huge Norwegian (?) at Fulham.

I think it was Luiz. He ghosted straight through from their penalty area to ours with no challenge in sight. If I remember correctly, Ben Arfa did the same at St. James' Park.

Aye, it was Luiz. Everyone in the crowd going apeshit each time. Coyle sat there looking clueless. Shock.

Pretty sure that was bogdans first start of the season too and he had a shocker

You didn't come home for the FA Cup Semi-Final v Stoke then?

I ws in the Burswood Casino in Perth watching it on a giant screen with about 100 Bolton and 150 Stokies. Fucking glad I didn't make the trip!

Boyata, just after half time.

Hopes for a second half fightback were not high.

Twice against them, I think!

Once Bromilow, once Barnstormers.

Debt down to £9 million.

"Gifted" £30 million for the right to first option on Naming rights on new stadium.

Training ground sponsorship doubled per year, new kit sponsor and new kit manufacturer deals coming.

Suppose depends on what media story you read as to the narrative.

Wondered what you meant. Now just heard the commentary. 15000 short of capacity; no fucking wonder.

What a cunting disgrace. Fucking scandalous prices.

Excitement on Birkenhead tonight - Tranmere one win away from a first ever home game v Man Utd
