I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Plastic knives from belly busters cafe round the corner?

Sporks.  Nailed on.

We had 19k for our first ever home game in Europe - and it was live on Channel 5. And it wasn't free for season ticket holders (tho tickets were cheap). The lower crowds were for later group games in our second European season. Let's see how many they get should that ever happen. All that said, I was still disappointed we didn't sell out that first match - and against Marseille. We did have two 25k + crowds for Madrid and Lisbon though. Seems like a dream now.

Madrid was a fiver a ticket, wasn't it?

According to Nigel Sheppard:

Plovdiv : 19,723

Zenit : 15,905

Sevilla : 15,623

Marseille : 19,288

Rabotnicki : 18,932

Braga : 10,848 (Megson's arrival!)

Aris : 10,229

Atletico Madrid : 26,163

Sporting CP : 25,644

Swansea site lists 17,000 for their St Gallen home game last night.

Suspiciously round figure when the commentators reckoned 13,500. With over 1,000 from Switzerland.  And some free tickets given away.

Seems the Wanderers fans aren't as sh*te as some people insist.

Although our crowds were low, there were only 5/6 clubs each each week that got higher. It's not really a well supported competition, not in the group stages at least. (Or it wasn't when we were in it!)

however

seeing as in theory theyre the biggest games we ever get to play, its not great

But the club dream the quarter finals of said competition as less important as a league game

Best atmosphere iv ever heard at the reebok

Even better than the leicester 2-2 game

It was incredible

maybe so

but nobody knew that at the time

anyway, lets not forget the reaction when we heard the team for plovdiv away

wasn't like it was the only time we played the reserves, was it?

Brillliant I took a few citeh to the game and they were more than impressed.

Of course that had to be the one European home game I missed cos was abroad with work. That and Besiktas away. Both will bug me forever. Especially every time I come across a 100 per center.

Not sure what my best atmosphere at the Reebok memory is...which is sad I suppose and perhaps tells its own story. Boro to stay up in 2003? Got to be the tensest.

The ones that will always stand out for me at Burnden are Wolves in the play-offs, Oldham in the Cup and the last ever match. Would love to be able to go back one last time.

Poor Accy Stanley.

10 games.    2 points.    Looks grim, and tonight's match wasn't a lot better. 1-2 to Dag&Red, and their goal was a last-minute consolation.

Elche are beating Espanyol in quest to stay to stay in the top flight

A utd win could see them back in the top half

Sunderland 1-0. Hahahahahahaha

A utd win could see them back in the top half

And a defeat leaves them joint 4th bottom, just 3pts off bottom, :D

Errr...

Shrewsbury ballsed me up against Carlisle even after that Bournemouth comeback! Should end Millwall's mini revival anyway.
