I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Rashford is a miserable fucker

SAINT Marcus ? Shirley not.

Stretford look like they'll hang on but this has done nothing to remove the doubts about this shower.

Doesn’t look interested one bit

Think McTominay is underrated proper grafter

It was Villa's game for the taking. Utd are poo.

Rashford not even bothering with that follow up off the keeper was bizarre.

He had stopped running and wouldn't have got there.

Shouldn't have stopped running though. Doesn't quite have that instinctive anticipation that out and out goalscorers do.

If they had a decent midfield he’d not be near the first team.

Presenters on Talksport begging for "fans of any club who played this weekend" to phone in. Would love to listen to them try and style out a conversation with someone phoning up to discuss something like Gillingham sacking their manager, or Scunthorpe struggling. Pure tumbleweed 😆

You really mean, "United fans call in to hammer Rashford or cry about it never being as bad as this, please"

They haven't had a decent  midfield since Paul Scholes retired

He's a fair player for me. Offers a bit of everything as a midfielder.

Sulky team mates were a far bigger factor last night.

Which is quite funny, given their supposed status as a super club.

Lots of empty seats there too.

Great draws for some of the lower league clubs good chance on going through

We'll shit em..........

......if their first team off to World Mickey Mouse Cup

Has VAR finished contemplating Villa’s equaliser yet. Absolute farce.  I’m sure It wasn’t intended to be the case but VAR is ensuring the top teams get most of the decisions and it stinks.

They stopped the game for over three minutes when it was not an obvious error or offside but still decided the ref had to look at the replay which is nonsense IMO.

Didn't help Newcastle.

VAR has been great for Old Trafford. In the past a rag went down near the box and it was almost always a guaranteed penalty.  Whereas anything short of murder at the other end and the ref waved play on.

I'm glad we dont have to put up with it at our level though.  Some of the decisions are taking ages.

Of course, not sure it suited them not to play neither.

Inevitable questions though once they admitted it.

Sarcevic scored again .
