Wanderlust Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Well deserved - although I'm amazed S'land even made it to the playoffs having just been promoted. Quote

Just shows- don't worry about how good the squad is for the league above, just worry about getting there. Quote

This could be us v Barnsley if we're not prepared so I hope IE is taking note. Yes I think Ian Evatt has sat there watching tonight looking for tips on how to deal with our upcoming match. He made a big note in his notepad saying Object lesson in a a well organised physically bigger team bullying a smaller passing team after grabbing a lead by chucking balls into the box. He will change his entire philosophy thats hes instilled in the club over the past 3 seasons and play Cameron Jerome, Victor and Big Dan in an 8 man defence. Nice one Lusty. Thanks for tipping him off. Quote

So having watched the game, your conclusion was that Evatt should "change his entire philosophy that hes instilled in the club over the past 3 seasons and play Cameron Jerome, Victor and Big Dan in an 8 man defence" ? Presumably he'll read this and follow your advice despite the lack of a track record of reading the thoughts of thick, sarky twats incapable of considering braver options like playing two 10s to find space in the huge gap between Barnsley's mid 3 high press and their back line for example? (that's 3421 if you're struggling) PM me if you need further advice on football matters or personal problems - always happy to help. Quote

Wanderlust Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 City have been fantastic and the passing and movement for the goal was brilliant, but they're still only 1 up. Never liked Courtois but he's been top notch so far. Quote
