Watching Pompey get ripped to pieces by Leeds at the moment. Leeds have hit the bar 3 times and just gone 1 up via a penalty.

A reminder to enjoy the journey this season rather than fret about the final position (for now).

Sat here watching it thinking exactly the same thing. Leeds will win the Champ by a mile, so they won’t all be this hard for Pompey, but I watched the second half of the Derby v Blackburn match last night and the step up is real! Makes Ipswich’s promotion even more impressive

I’m thinking the opposite. We could be having these fixtures. But no we get Leyton Orient.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d much rather have these fixtures, I was just surprised more so by Blackburn destroying Derby last night (and then the fact that Pompey could have been 4-0 down within 15 mins).

To be fair, Pompey are now level and Oxford are winning and it’s day 1 of the season so I should probably just calm the fuck down and hopefully find out how we’d fair in the Champ next season.

How good is football though, that this can even be the result at half time!

This sky sports+, why do the graphics look like I’m watching in Premiership Years 97/98? I can’t tell whether it’s done on purpose and they think it’s a bit retro or it’s just on the cheap (surely can’t cost much to use some more modern fonts).

Plus side is that they all seem to be working for me and I don’t have to listen to those chaps from Bolton FM talking utter shit during half time.

Absolutely 👍 . Great game this now.

It does look a bit naff on this Sky+ thing but it's already much improved on last nights showing. All the players looked ginger at Oakwell.

That American lad will have nightmares about the miss at the end. Some real thrillers in the Champ this afternoon. Millwall/Watford was mad at the end too. Mainly watched Oxford against a lacklustre Norwich side - basically did the same as they did against us and it wasn't until it was too late that the Norwich manager changed the system. Oxford won't get it that easy again this season.

Random things noticed from tonight's EFL highlights, Stoke have moved away fans to the other corner. Leeds have sold shit loads of them yellow retro shirts.

Think Stoke have gone for a safe standing jobby so moved the away fans over.

Seen loads of them about this summer.

One lad at the Trafford Centre smelt like neither he nor the shirt had been washed since launch day.

Few in our end yesterday I could say the same about 😂

I've asked this before but what is the threshold for retro?

Would people class The Squiggle Badge stuff as retro?

I'm still thinking 90s and nothing over.
