The natives are not happy :)

Oh dear. What a shame. Never mind.

Irrespective of form and mood they'll be bang up for it against us. Can you imagine us ever going to Bloomfield and doing that?

Burnley just sold 19 year old Odabert to Spurs for £25 mil up front + £5 mil add-ons + 10% sell on fee.

A fat 15 to 20 million profit.on one player with more to come.

Plus they got £10mil from Bayern compen for Kompany and are set to cash in on other young players. Ain't going bust soon and the strategy of buying quality young players seems to be paying off.

Their financial reserves are in their player stock.

Aye although it was a model that bought us instant success it came with no longevity at all. It was unsustainable.

Hence we ended up moments away from being gone forever.

Tbf Burnley paid about £7m for him from Troyes rather than necessarily developing him through their own academy. Good scouting all the same, like.

We’ve been pretty solid at developing L1 and L2 players. The problem was that we needed higher quality at the time, and it cost so much to bring those players through that we wouldn’t be able to afford to do it now that we’re at the level where they’d actually come in handy.

Dunno what it costs, but we've spent a fair bit this time.

One or two young ones coming through would save spending down the line.

I suppose the difficulty is ensuring a supply of such lads.

the year is 2024 and Danny Wellbeck and Ashley Young are still starting in the premier league

Farmers

Eric Dier and Joselu played in a semi last season

You'd be forgiven for thinking EFL trophy

Was champions League

Not saying they're shit

But no one saw that coming in 2018

Anyone else watching the Charlton v Orient game.

Orient have just knobbled a Charlton player who had to be strechered off. Only shown a yellow, when it should have been a red imo.

Two players injured in two games by Orient.

Christ that's a shocker.

Similar to the one against us.

Keep that up and the refs will get wise I reckon.

It really is.

A yellow can't be upgraded otherwise you'd expect that one to be.

Didn't Bolton complain about the tackle nonetheless. Charlton should do the same. Two in two weeks is a proper disgrace & the EFL need a word with them.

If it was us I'd expect our card to be marked and refs to be onto us.

Watching Brighton here. This is how Evatt sees us.

They play it out from the back but fuck me they do it with that much tempo and intensity their WBs are making a 5 man attack in 2 seconds.

Aye but like us they give it away at the back with worrying regularity

Noticed earlier that sarcevic is now at bratfurt and still a w@nker as they were the one team let down on me acca.

It was Bradford and Rotherham for me.  I wish I had a fiver for every time Bradford have let me down for a home win since they were in Div 4.  I need to realise they really aren't very good even at that level.

Mate I watched the last 20 mins and they were fakin awful,  even their own commentators were losing the plot with how bad they were.

Funny that when he was going off then, giving it to Spurs fans and players 😂 fair play to him

He was gutted at not putting that chance away to give them the lead. Good interview on Sky after. Left back for Leicester (Kristensen) looked a good player
