I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

As I said further up, the scousers aside, they are a team that I enjoy watching. Fair play to them

Watched a good chunk of them the other day.

They really remind me of us when we had SKD running the show and players playing off him.

That Chris Wood runs the attack, wins every balls and Maderson and Gibbs-White are brilliant on the counter.

Some big units too and seem to soak up pressure.

Great to watch. Fast flowing counter attacking.

Yep. In one. Fuck boring Pep-ball

I'd also add Hudson-Odoi, who, when I've seen him has been very good

Just came on to say you may be right with the first post.

Your second may be nearer the mark though!

Got it on the wireless- they're saying utd being over run in midfield. Where have we seen that before?

United got big gaps in midfield, wing backs are overran and they have no width.

Hmm.... :)

They're awful United. No legs at all in midfield

They're getting absolutely dry-pummelled.

Should be 3 or 4 already.

What's Ten Haag doing nowadays?

Laughing his cock off

Newcastle playing some great football

Carragher’s analysis on United’s problems with their 2 man midfield was very very familiar!

Awful system

Stopping in bed until Homes under the Hammer comes on, then counting his money, picking his horses and going for a pint.

Ipswich doing Chelsea by 2 as well.

Those toffees will be looking over their shoulders.

Newcastle playing some good stuff

need a 3rd

Bang on there. Hadn't realised just how close they are to the drop.

Are there any Denis Law types around that could back heel them to oblivion?

The commentator at yesterdays Derby v West Brom match said that West Brom have won 1 league match at Derby in 104 years.Apparantly this is correct.Remarkable.

That's incredible.  Makes our record there look almost acceptable!

Just checked- their only win at Derby since 1919 was under bloody Megson!

Reading a bit from last night and saw that Stretford houcked Zirkzee off after 33 minutes.

I assume he wasn't showing & at 0-2 down Amorim decided he needed to alter 'the system' & have more midfield (Mainoo came on instead) & sacrifice a forward. I can"t imagine how a player feels at that moment ... admittedly still receiving his £150k+ pw wage helps a bit.

A manager spotting an issue mid-game and (when it’s clearly not working) making a substitution / tactical change to try and improve the system? Sod that. He should have waited until 60 mins and made a couple of like-for-like swaps.

Think he’s finished now not a manager but a great player .

More personal than footballing matters but I'd not noticed that Plymouth were currently  rock bottom.

Colleen, if she tolerates him back ... again, will keep him local. He clearly can't keep his lodger to himself. So prepare for years of him being a pundit on any number of tv channels & quietly fading out of view as time passes.

Are these so called rumours true or just hearsay say?
