Sounded like it.

But, for a dose of reality, the attendance was 10,617.

Friday night, cold, on TV admittedly, but I'm constantly being told how big they now are & where it's all going & how they're making plans for a 50,000 stadium. The 'city' shuts roads down & floods with cops as if it's a Stretford attendance.

The ground's only 3 sided currently, it will hold about 18k when they build the new stand.  Bigger than 2 Prem grounds as it happens and they'll easily fill it, and maybe they'll have the option to increase the small allocation for away fans.

They will rarely fill it.

The day Hollywood feel they've done their bit the local 'interest' will go back where it came from.

I'd expect them to fill it easily.  As annoying as they are, they are here to stay and their "brand" is growing not shrinking.  Even if they were struggling to fill it which is unlikely, they could do as we have and have 4k+ away fans for a majority of championship games.  There will be a novelty factor for a long time as 99% of EFL football fans probably haven't been to Wrexham and will be ticking it off if seats are available.

18k in the championship they will easily fill it

If they're struggling there's plenty of away fans that will fill up the slack

You just don't like Wrexham

Spurs would be better with our Xavi Simons

I still call him Simmons and I’ve no idea where it came from. Can’t stop myself though. Spurs were fucking terrible, in fact the game was terrible - they were far more arsed about shitty fouls than anything else.

No idea where Dan has pulled the overhead kick last week and then that screamer this week from. I know it’s a shit league but that doesn’t change the quality of the 2 finishes.

Final “today’s games” point. Connor Hall playing up top for Brackley on BBC2 - blast from the past. I’ve just checked where he’s been at and although he’s not played many games (and at a lower level), he’s got a serious goals per game ratio

Last season - 18 in 17

23/24 - 12 in 12

22/23 - 20 in 18

21/22 - 11 in 9

20/21 - 5 in 5

Non-league goal machine! (when fit)

Watching MOTD, what a horrible set of cnuts Liverpool are, especially that  MacAllister, Onana should have twatted him for being a proper cheating cnut

Aye.

Got pushed on the clavicle, and rolled around as if Freddie Kreuger had just ripped his face off.

As for Tottenham, and Villa- both piss arsing around with it at the back.

I can't remember Brentford doing that, so why is the manager is now doing it at spurs?

Szoboszlai threw Onana into the perimeter fencing in the 1st half, he was treated for 5 minutes and of course got booed by the Liverpool fans for being injured by one of their heroes.  Very similar to when TSL got chucked into the fence by the Stockport striker, how is that not at least a booking?  A red for me coz they aren't even pretending to go for the ball, its purely aggressive and dangerous for no reason.

Isn’t that 3 in 3 for big Dan now? I know it’s Scotland but that was a cracker yesterday and he looks full of confidence, something he never seemed to have here in front of our fans many of who seemed too quick to moan at him. I hope he does well he seems a genuinely nice guy and when Victors fit I hope he’s given a chance before some get on his back again too.

Aye. His previous goal wasn't bad either.

Really fancy Bournemouth to get something at City.

Reserve the right to say the something they ‘got’ was a bumming.

Folk write off City this season but christ when you've got that animal up front you've a chance to win anything.

He's the best No9 I think I've ever seen.
