ianofcleveleys Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Craig Gordon, at 43 years old, just made one of the saves of the season in the last minute to win Hearts the game v Dundee Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Looked at Swansea's game. They named a 20 man squad. They played 7 of their 9 substitutes. Santos, as an aside, wasn't one of the 20. He's had a hip issue since mid December. Quote
paulhanley Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I would have a good belly laugh at United if we weren't rapidly turning in to their equivalent in League 1 Quote
Popular Post DazBob Posted January 11 Popular Post Posted January 11 Seeing that young Utd player get a 2nd yellow for throwing the ball down and then crying has cheered me right up. Little cunt. Quote
Roger_Dubuis Posted January 11 Posted January 11 38 league games, 1 League Cup tie and 1 FA Cup tie = a 40 game season for Man Utd. Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 This Barca vs Madrid game is a cracker Quote

One of the best I've ever seen, never mind from a 43 year old (Scot). He was only on the bench, does he fancy a few months down here? Quote

Johnnyrotten Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Macclesfield, who are below Curzon Ashton in the league, have got further in the FA Cup than Man U. And not because they had an easier tie, both were drawn at home to similar sized clubs within a point of each other. And Grimsby have got further than Man U in both the League Cup and FA Cup. Love that. In August, maybe you'd get 1,000/1 on either of those bets. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Elsewhere, on here, it was reported that they are. Doing well at lwb. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Always take such opinions with a pinch of salt until the day that everyone on here agrees that any of our players are either good, bad or indifferent! There isn't even widespread agreement on Randall at one end of the scale or Johnston and Sheehan at the other end. If anyone can decide if Tomo was any good for us please let the rest of us know. And see the Simons thread from earlier in the season compared to comments since October. Bottom line is a player is great one week, that lasts for one week, and opinion shifts the week after. Quote

Eddie Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Parky’s spotted what his strengths and weaknesses are and is playing him in a position (actually 2) that suit them. Evatt kept shoehorning him into a midfield 2, he’d be no better at Wrexham doing that role than he was here. Ask him to run all day and whip balls in when he can and you’ve got a decent player. Quote
