Preston got given 2000 for the league game at Rotherham, but only 1200 for the play off. Should be a gud un next season.

Congratulations to Eibar, the tiny Basque club, on winning promotion to La Liga for the first time.

 

Like Athletic Bilbao they only play Basque players & have a tiny 5000 capacity ground you pass on the motorway between Bilbao and San Sebastián. So they will have their work cut out next season IF the league pass their promotion. Despite being debt free they have to have £1.7million in share capital to be allowed to join such financial basket cases such as Valencia.

Been on the cards for 3/4 years and the last three managers, rotten to the core. Trains were buggered as well so worse still I had to endure it all without a beer and then drive home for going on for 5 hours.

Just did a bit of background reading into Burton/ Fleetwood, apparently they had to stop selling tickets on friday, and the FL couldnt decide wether to allow POD. Ridiculous. 

Dont see why they have it at Wembley,especially for div2 and Conference finals, sure the fans would rather have a near filled smaller stadium than 1/4 full wembley. Leeds or Hillsboro would have been ideal, just over an hour ish away for both fans. 

Think the Football League signed a lengthy deal with the FA to play them at Wembley. Even the smallest events at least make a dent, albeit a tiny one, in the FA's debt for building the place.
