His ability to hit shots firm with little backlift, and keep them low into the corners is tremendous. He can put pens away too.

An interesting observation from the giroud disallowed goal. The england players stepped up and stood still, had it been reviewed and given (assuming he'd been onside) then the england players would be saying we stopped as the decision had been made. Obviously should play to the whistle but once it has blown as in this case, then it becomes a legitimate complaint. Can of worms.
