Moderators Carlos Posted September 25, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 25, 2017 If yon Sheff Utd manager had come here and Parkinson there, we'd be in exactly the same position now and people would be slagging him off instead. I thought we'd tried to get him- he must have expert analytical skills and realised we were a basket case.

I got a proper kicking in the early 80s at Bramhall Lane. Bolton had won 5-1 and the locals were less than happy. I'd bought a new pair of jeans from Stolen from Ivor on way to coach and changed into them en route. Fucking wankers left me with no knees in the fuckers by the time I'd got back to coach. It would be fashionable these days!

Aye, we discussed this one not long ago........no one knew where the coaches were, the police making it very obvious who Bolton fans were if anyone asked them where the coaches were & Sheffield dickheads waiting on every corner. Quite tricky. There was plenty of trouble there, 2 seasons running !!
