Strangely, I'm warming slightly to southgate. He seems to want to utilise some of the players he's worked with before, and with the youngsters doing well, the continuity may be the way to go.

After all some of these may struggle to get premier league game time, so someone who knows them and the system may be more successful long term.

Don't see much for next summer, but later on who knows.
