leigh white Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Only time Burnley can claim a victory in the FA cup tie after years of the town being taken over, normal service was resumed the following week in the League match. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Went to both, thought we won the cup game but lost the league one. Felgate and his overhead clearance is a classic memory. Mutual swapping of house bricks (albeit intercepted by netting) also sticks in the mind. Quote
gonzo Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 aye, down the side to the right of that pic. i remember Bolton going on the pitch only to be charged back by far more Burnley coming from that paddock in the pic. although i do recall seeing a good few Dingles taking a kicking. http://www.youtu.be/ZEDQzyAAB30 Quote
gonzo Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 https://twitter.com/uglygame/status/941414393107140610 This thing at Millwall isn't going away. Its dodgy as fuck what the council are up to. Quote

Bolton those games went in the bar upstairs in the precinct in town centre about 5 hours before kick off then back to Burnley barracks station after where you needed to keep your wits about you. I think after all those years were Bolton ruled and took the piss, they organised something for the League game, in the event we drew them away in the FA Cup a week before, took everyone by surprise. Everybody was ready the following week. Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Just over 1100 sold apparentlySky or not, that’s turd for a club at the top of the league and a sub-100 mile trip. Guessing even some of our away followings this season might be comparable, never mind if we were top of the league. Quote
birch-chorley Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Sheff We’d still charging £40 odd? Understandable turnout if so Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Sheff We’d still charging £40 odd? Understandable turnout if so £33 if it’s the same as ‘Kop non members’ looking at Sheff Weds website, so not too dissimilar to what we’ve been charging a few clubs this season. Quote

radcliffe white Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 I can be critical over our away support But I think even we could do better in their position Quote

On facebook Wolves fans defending there turnout by pointing out last train to Dogland left before end of match. Is that the only mode of transport?? Must admit I prefer to use the train , but not averse to jumping on a coach, or going by car Quote

Alf Hartigan Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Just noticed that Everton are sponsored by Angry Birds on one sleeve. They should get Grand Theft Auto on the other. Quote
radcliffe white Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Can’t knock the results he’s got so far big Sam Quote
Alf Hartigan Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 (edited) I'm finding myself wanting em to win, i feel a bit grubby for this. Don't care what you think about Allardyce, he's a good manager, and the clubs that got rid i.e. West Ham and Newcastle both missed a trick not keeping him. Blackburn can fuck off though. Yep, we agree. I like Mourinho too and find myself not bothering when the DMB's win any more - for the first time in my life! If I was an Everton fan I'd be thinking of some new ditty to the tune of 'Gangsters Paradise' where the last three words were "Big Sam Allardyce" Let's just see what creativity I have now unleashed with that suggestion..................... bolty58 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 A poor joke regarding the red shite I hope ? No, not really. I am still very much 'anti' but it doesn't seem as bad with Jose in charge. Don't worry, when he moves on, normal service will be resumed Quote
