Isn't this a Yankee thanksgiving thing, why is it creeping in over here?

I agree, even in the olden days in sure Robinson Crusoe didn't call him that !! Which gets me thinking, if you was stuck on a desert island for a few years with no hope of getting off it, would you of boned Man Friday? You've not had a shag for years and there's only two places to put it really besides your hand, so morals go out the window I'd presume :)[/quote

Fuckin hell, some thought process this time of mornin.

Anyhow, Black Friday is shit as apple are not in it.

Someone wants to save a few quid in these tough times for many then why not

From what I've seen of this media led bullshit, Jeremy Kule is going to look a lot bigger in a lot of scutter living rooms this morning.

How on earth did we cope for all those years without Black Friday?

How did the yanks cope before plasmas were out? Can you imagine trying to stick a decent TV under your arm 10 years ago!

Anyone queuing/fighting last night should be taken out of the gene pool

I'm nearly onto the Curry's website :)

The Jews are going to be all over it, always chasing money that lot.

It's only a bargain if you need it. Loads of deals throughout the year anyway; the only ones who win are the retailers today or else they wouldn't do it.

Still, I could do with a new kettle.

Some cracking videos going round, fucking scumbags.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

Still, I could do with a new kettle.

Thought you lot would be completely over being kettled.

Don't the people you have to brew up for provide the tools of your trade?

Sheep begin to flock

Queue around the block

Checkouts are gridlocked

The frenzy of Black Friday

Jaws drop to the carpet

Gullible easy targets

Riots at supermarkets

Polythene bag army

A quaint Yankee tradition

Shoppers on a mission

Choked into submission

The sale of the f#ckin’ century

Half a million every hour

‘Bargains’ are devoured

Sweetness turning sour

Shelves are f#ckin empty

An advertisers dream

Devious marketing scheme

Not everything’s as it seems

You couldn’t even bribe me

Headlights cased the rabbit

Can taste it but not grab it

Disgrace this filthy habit

The frenzy of Black Friday

Reminded me of:-

Gordon's at it again

As somebody who hates shopping at the best of times, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than get involved in any of that for a discount.  Can't believe some of the scenes.  My cousin got up early and said there was nothing and it was a waste of time.

I prefer Orange Wednesdays.

I nipped into Tesco in Bury at 1am last night on my break for work, only wanted a magazine and a few bits for tea the next day. Never seen as many scutters and Asian hoofs grabbing shitty tvs in my life before. Some had kids in prams out! Sure people in bury don't have a job to go too.

To be fair, is a gift for my new PA. Takes nothing to give a little back.

Yeah right.

How many tellys did you buy?

Do we still get Boxing Day sales? Or is this taking over?
