  • I'm not worried about incurring anybodys wrath, I'm with Oggy. Let's get back to knocking opponents about a bit. Let them know where they've been. Like we used to, and happy fucking days they were too

How very strange.

No thanks .

Does he tell jokes?

heskey and eider up front combined aged 73 !!!

Well, that one came from left field

Thats usually where his attempts at goal end up.

If heskey plays for Bolton so can I

How many toilets can he clean in an hour?

I Don't see what the issue is.

He's an ex team mate of Lennon and he probably just wants to have a look at him.

He's hardly going to be on silly money if he does sign and he's another bloke around the camp that's played at the very top and won a gazillion caps for his country.

All about instilling that winning mentality back into the club.

Decent bloke to have around the club IMO.

Tie his boot laces together and he'll still be better than Beckford.

Depends on how busy he is selling squirts of aftershave I suppose

Disappointing that this is the direction we are going in for me , he has hardly been a winner has he? Yeah he has 60 odd caps for his country but only managed 7 goals in those games and managed 1 goal in 19 games is the aussie outback league last year.

Again, if Mr Lennon is happy, I'm happy.

The "Aussie outback league" is a decent standard. Del Piero plays there, among others.

I saw 5 matches over there early this year, including Heskey for Newcastle Jets. Can't say I remember his performance - I wasn't expecting him at the Macron.    :)

Aye del piero scored 24 goals in 48 games for sydney.

He would be worth the admission fee alone - always loved him.

Not with your knees!

Seems to me like he's looking for players to open things up in the absence of mark Davies. Heskey could be a good hold up man for Clayton, whilst I could see Eider playing the Davies role. Don't think he'd be looking at either of them starting games though.

Can't do anything better until January and we are lightweight upfront, still an improvement on Beckford though.

no

Think he will do a job personally

Mentor for C Davies

few old pros with winning mentality and inspirational cv scattered around a few younger lads ....... Now where have we seen that before??? Book the flights boys

Can't see this happening more likely a coaching role I'd think.
