I'm 31 and think I had a glass of sherry and cookies with Santa last year

It was Satan

It was Satan

That explains why I was drinking heavily then.

Is there any other way to drink?

Can't be arsed with work now. I finish this job tomorrow anyway and I've still got a ton of work to do, plus I'm giving four days in Jan to them as well.

Looking forward to Christmas Eve, last minute shopping in London then evening meal at Caravan near King's Cross; before home and Carol's from Kings.

I'm 31

old cunt

The more i think about it, the more astonishing i find it how kids (myself included) believe(d).

I saw some 'Father Christmas Keys' in a (mainly) tat shop yesterday - how can they be sure burglars won't buy one and use it dishonestly, to gain access and pinch presents, possibly drinking the sherry and eating the mince pie too (and possibly shitting in a bed then putting the duvet back over the top)?

Given that the shop in question was Home Bargains was even more cause for concern, as surely a large percentage of their customers are burglars by 'trade'?

Say hello to Jazza from us all.

Cos if they are burgalers they will be on naughty list so keys will not work. Stupid.

Very good Ani. Will do.

Just got a knife set for my secret santa present

As a bizarre aside to that, it took me back to sitting waiting for 'confession' as a kid, and, being a kid, hadn't done much 'wrong' and having to invent 'sins'...

BTW I didn't get bummed or forced to perform any other sex acts and I'm still perplexed as to why I was sent to a RC school in the first place, as the nearest my parents got to organised faith was two seconds of Songs of Praise before jumping up to switch over to Bullseye (and if there's not some jewish lineage somewhere in the maternal side I'll eat my Homburg).

You weren't forced? - then you must have partaken of your own free will. We all know that anybody who goes into one of those confession booths has to indulge in some sort of sordid act.

I presume the glory hole was invented in a confession booth

I think the priest used to be half alsleep in his half, he was well into his seventies...

No sex of any kind, forced or consensual, which is mysterious as I was forced into serving altar too, reasons being, all the lads who's parents were well into being god squad (mainly irish surnames) got picked and all the lads of godless heathens who never went to church got picked - thinking it would force said parents to attend (it didn't).

But I musn't have floated the boat of the clergy, as no sex acts to report at all. :(

Thinly veiled, I was an ugly child post.

Or the priests had a good source for sleeping tablets and I got BA'ed every week (or midweek, which meant I was assaulted and missed Arthur C Clarkes World Of Strange Powers on the telly, which is ironic).

Anyway, back to Christmas, how many people have done sod all yet?

The world of cleaning products seems competitive there

You are either an emotional wet lettuce or you wave the white flag and give in far too easily.

HTH.

In fairness to bgoefc, he has invited me on at least a couple of occasions and I was all set for pitching up last year until the daughter was rushed into hospital to have the baby.

I'm only about 5 miles from him over the hill, but I just know I'd end up getting hammered and upsetting the wife!

The invitation is still there mate. I finish uni tomorrow and after a hectic fri night, sat and sunday I will be tapping the barrel of Three B's "Bee Blonde" 4% abv on Monday lunchtime.. Got it Wednesday so it should have managed to settle after the hilly car ride. So any time Monday, Tuesday or even lunchtime xmas eve.

How many pints in their mini cask Bigtoe?

Cheers, mate.

I wasn't angling for an invite, but if I can over for a couple I will!
