I feel sorry for the plastic scousers seduced by the 80s success they come from far and wide hoping and praying that the past glories will return they've not a clue about supporting a proper club a local club the ups and the downs. I watched them sat on there hands gazing misty eyed at our incredible passion and support (they don't get it) and there eyes and souls were empty devoid of any feeling for the game folk from Milton Keynes, Wrexham, Barrow, Preston and dare I say it Bolton divorced from there community sharing some pathetic quest for glory, watching a club that really they have no connection with only some diminishing past glory that somehow makes them feel worthwhile. Sad as fuck.

Spot on I wouldn't swap with them for anything if I had to go there every week I'd pack up

I'm in London unfortunately so will watch from there

It's the Wembley Hilton with stadium view though which I am taking as a good sign

Who wants a room reserving for the final?

and the play offs!

How much deposit would they want? Might be worth booking a few.

Its that good that if you substitute the word 'Manc' instead of 'Scouser' and '90s or '00s instead of '80s it works equally well.

That should be on the homepage of this website, and probably drawn on one wall of the stadium too.

Brilliant

Just got home safe & I have my keys!

What an amazing, unbelievable day out, best awayday in years

From falling asleep at Lime Street Spoons at 10:45 for half an hour and not having a single thing knicked(in Liverpool, amazing!) keep in mind I was one my larry at that point and had consumed 8 cans of Abbot on the train up. I was barely awake when Hughesy and pals turned up

To roaming round for about 20 mins in various  Liverpool backstreets looking for the pub where the infamous Anthill mob were drinking.

To finding the pub, picking up my ticket and having a drink with the Anthill mob. all of them top lads who treated me like an old friend

To cheering every Bradford and Leicester goal in Arkles(this was one of two points when Hughesy borrowed my house keys)

To standing on the stairs in the away end with the Anthill mob, the song about "Scouce slums" cracked me up and the result + the atmosphere created by our fans was superb

To going in some really dodgy pub near Anfield with Hughesy and pals(Hughesy borrowed my keys again at this point)

To being back in Lime ST Spoons with the Anthill mob, Hughesy and pals. We won't talk about the taxi journey to Spoons... :shifty:

To getting the last train back to Wigan because Hughesy said he was going to sort me out somewhere to stay - which he did

To going out on the lash with Hughesy in Aston in Makerfield until 2:30am

It was truly an incredible day out. I was delighted to meet Hughesy pals and the Anthill Mob, who treated me like an old friend.

I am absolutely chuffed that I  made the journey up and even more delighted that Casino & Elvis managed to sort me out a ticket between them. There truly is some great lads on here and it was a pleasure drinking with you and watching the game with you.

F.Y.I Birch - Chorley it was more the case that some chose to stay behind and carry on signing, I didn't want to leave that stand, the atmosphere was incredible.

Casino shouting "Spooooons" was funny.

Highlight of the day: it was all amazing

odd bit of the day: the taxi journey back to Lime Street with Hughesy and pals,

Thanks all for the great day out, look forward to seeing some of you Tuesday

Plastic Citehs, plastic Gooners, plastic Chelskis, never forgetting the original plastic so-called Red Devils down the road. Not worth a teaspoon of my spit.

Really enjoyed the game, Bolton showed what we are currently missing, and what british footy fans love to see.

Loads of fight, spirit and determination, but lacked any real quality.... Other than the keeper getting you a replay.

Lucky in some parts, but you earned that luck, and defended so well.

A more mobile forward line would have caused Libpool more trouble, but then Libpool having a striker at all would have won that game for the with ease.

You may laugh, but that is how we feel about libpool, when we play them, and for my family, they feel this every day.
